Took my baby in for the recall update. Appears the new date code on the part is consistent with the "011017" someone posted before. I added a few new pics to show the crimps and inspections blots in detail. Will post pics of the old lines when hey come off.
Enjoyed a local car show with PP0001. Two R's showed up and PP0001 brought his 2015 1 of 1 TrP car. It was a beautiful day in the South... God's country with beautiful cars.
It was nice to see how an R with aftermarket wheels looked next to a factory stock setup.
As this new ZL1 is no joke! But, despite the alpha platform, it's a heavy beast with the 10-speed auto and eLSD at 3950 lbs. There are strong rumors of 180+ mph trap speeds and sub-7:30 laps at the Gring so this 500 will really have to step it up.
Oh, and heatsoak will need to be...
For sale - set of 4 N4S R replica wheels for sale. 20"x10" square setup. Have hubcebtric spacers accompanying in case you have a GT350 you'd like to put them on.
Shod with Kuhmo Ectasa 295/30r20. Never been turned on pavement. Comes mounted and balanced and with stock Ford 2016 Mustang TPMS...

Sorry. Tried to upload a pic but for some reason I can't.
Man, seriously like the YouTube vids... question: you seemed to get frustrated with those stripes... do you think a good prep and then CQuartz after may be a good remedy for the stripe scratch dilemma?
Keep the vids coming man!
Had to leave this baby to go have fun at Ford Performance Racing's 350 Track Course.
Met some good fellow Shelby lovers, including some Canucks (glad this was available for them).
Facility is first class! Instructors were great at communicating effective changes to my driving style and...
Ive decided to back out on obtaining a set of wheels from a previous wheel manufacturer and am back looking for solutions for a wheel for my R.
Has anyone found any new solutions?
So, I decided to make a shifter change. The stock shifter has better action than the Boss 302 I had, but there was still some notchiness and sponginess. I had been informed of the MGW alternative and was even more intrigued when everyone I talked to about MGW shifters had nothing but excellent...
Does anyone have a link? Appreciated.
Update:
Sucks but my front chin spoiler lost screws on its own this weekend. It appears that this spoiler may need some more bracing given the amount of downforce they achieve.
Any of you engineers have any ideas?
When I open my garage door, the Darh Vader entrance music comes to my mind... But, when I crank GR064 up, all I hear is "TNT!", by AC/DC.
RIP DIY blue... Whenever I see a DIY 350, especially the R's like shelby_r has, I can't help but hear Kenny Wayne Sheppard's "Blue on Black".
Good Lord what a difference! I have no idea why this simple 15 minute add-on works so well on tramline reduction but my R drives night n day easier now!
Thanks Steeda!
Well, figured I'd start a thread for those of us with R's that wish to do mods. I'll go first...
Steeda jack rails and G-brace installed this weekend. Will be taking these to a touchless wheel shop tomorrow to get the Kuhmo 295/30r20's mounted.
I'm a little timid to drive my car to work since I don't have a locking system for the wheels. Now with cars potentially being stolen from Ford and the wheels lifted in ATL, I'm not taking a chance.
I know the R lugs are different from the TeP/TrP lugs... Has anyone found a lock set that is...
Backing these cars up with the Elctronics package isn't that hard, however I would love it if the passenger side mirror tilted down like on BMWs so I could see the curb better and avoid damage to the CF wheels...
Wish that were a possibility!!!
Well, this morning was church day so I decided to drive my baby. Got to church and drove around the parking lot looking for a safe, ding-free spot... Had to creep in quiet mode cause I didn't want the deacons to accuse me of hellfire and brimstone or to judge me for idolizing the ding-free...
