Just ordered it. Can't wait for the anniversary show in Charlotte in April. I'll be there the first day. Can't wait to see the car in person. I sure hope they have a Guard colored one there.
I'd choose the moonroof option if it were offered. I too like that open air feeling without buying a vert. Never been a fan of a vert since I got rid of my '74 MGB vert. Oh well, we'll see what Ford comes up with.
I have to agree. Anytime you keep your right foot on the floor of any turbo charged engine, you will see poor mpg numbers. I owned a 1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Average driving I would see 24 mpg and on the highway on a long trip, I'd see 28. Let me plant my right foot and those numbers...
Really? Never met anyone that even thought of buying a Lincoln? That's suprising to me. Years ago, Lincoln had some pretty sweet cars like the Mustang engine based Mark VII and the Cobra engine based Mark VIII. I bought a new 1998 Mark VIII LSC that was a sweet ride, almost identical to the...
Axle hop is a problem. My 2010 GT500 had a major problem with it until I swapped out the rock hard Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires with Pilot super sports. Don't seem to have much of a problem with it on my '13 GTCS with oem pzero's on it though.
Me too. I wish they would have an optional power sunroof in the 2015. I really like that open air feeling without the vert. I had a sunroof in a 1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe that I bought new. I finally sold it in 2010 and the roof never leaked. That was really a fun car.
I'd sure love to see 275's all the way around on the GT model. That's the one thing I hate about my 13 GT/CS. P245's are just way to small for this car.
Not sure you have your number right about the cost of the new Vette! I see them here in SC running around $60K. Granted, the GT500, IMO, is a GREAT car, but in my area, most dealers are asking $10K to $15K above sticker. With the base GT500 costing $54,800 and adding the PP, that adds $3,495...
Hey guys, on the first page, with the last 2 pics of the verts. Take a look at the engine emblem on the 15. Anyone else notice it says '0.5' and not 5.0!!! What's up with that??? Someone playing tricks on us? LOL.
Don't think I will be buying a '15. I like the car's looks, but want to wait to see if they bring back the Mach 1. If they do, I'll have a Mach 1 parked in the garage next to my '13 GTCS. Both blue I think!!!:clap2:
Probably closer to the 40K mark. When I bought my '13 GT/CS, the only 2 options I ordered was the Electronics package and the Shaker Pro. It stickered for 42K. I am really going crazy over that Grey 2015 convertible.
I noticed the memory buttons too. Also see the tweeter on the A pillar and what looks like a mid range and woofer in the door..sweet!!!! My '13 GT/CS has the Shaker Pro and it sounds great....ever since I replaced the door and rear deck speakers. Glad to see the tweeters though!!
If you notice the wheels on these pics, they are not staggered. I sure hope the one's on the GT will be at least P275's. I like the style of these though. Looks like the one's off the Boss 302/LS. Man I can't wait til morning!!!
Art, I have to agree with you. I think they are doing the same thing C&D did. Only 2 more days and we'll see the real deal, like it or not. Still gonna hold onto my 2013 GT/CS though, even though I like some of the styling of this rendering.
I see now that those are gauges at the top of the center stack. WOW, Chazcron was really on top of this!! Man, he's good!! Is that edition of the magazine out already?
