  1. Rear window not level with roof on both sides

My driver's side is drooping a little, but not as bad as some of the photos I have seen. I have washed the car a few times and no leaks so I guess I will count myself lucky. At this point, I am going to let it go since that is the only alignment issue I have seen on the car. Btw, I had an...
  2. Condensation in headlights

  3. Condensation in headlights

Page 224 of the Owners Manual: Exterior lamps have vents to accommodate normal changes in pressure. Condensation can be a natural occurrence of this design. When moist air enters the lamp assembly through the vents, there is a possibility that condensation can occur in cold temperatures. When...
  4. Misalignment and debris in paint (NEW UPDATE!)

I'm glad to hear Ford is working with you on this. I don't blame you about the rental car.
  5. Misalignment and debris in paint (NEW UPDATE!)

I am floored that Ford is letting these defective cars leave the plant. I consult for many manufacturers in the state of PA and I promote in-line quality inspection throughout the manufacturing process. Much better to deal with the problems in the production process compared to waiting until the...
  6. Misalignment and debris in paint (NEW UPDATE!)

Wow! I knew that some of the earlier builds (Oct-Nov) were having alignment issues, but it looks like production and QA are still experiencing process issues if the December builds are finding alignment problems. I haven't paid close enough attention, but I wonder if the January builds are still...
  7. Misalignment and debris in paint (NEW UPDATE!)

Just for curiosity sake, when was the build date of your Mustang?
  8. Hello from South Central PA

In York, PA as well. Congrats on ordering a new Mustang!
  9. One Month Later...would I do it all over again??

After 1 month and 1000 miles, absolutely I would do it again.
  10. Anyone tried putting a pdf file of the owner's manual on USB?

If you have an iPhone, you can access the manual using the Mustang 50 Years App. I also believe there is something available for the Android as well. The manual is located under Owner Information.
  11. Picked this up today....

Excellent find! I would have loved to have found that for my 65 Fastback!
  12. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

Wow! You just can't seem to catch a break with your Mustang. This happens to all makes and models of cars. It looks like you just got the one that will continue to give you grief no matter what you do. Rather than continue to let this one Mustang spoil what should be a great ownership...
  13. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

I'm glad to hear your service department is working with you to address the issue. Hopefully they pinpoint the issue this round so you can truly enjoy your Mustang the way it was meant to be.
  14. 50th Anniversary Commemorative Box Set

Something like that will most likely be reserved for the 50th Anniversary owners. I imagine it will be similar to the 2012/2013 Boss kit.
  15. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

Random issues really suck. I would rather the problem continue so the root cause can be isolated and fixed earlier rather than later. Many years ago I had a random "gremlin" with a 2001 F-150 I made sure to be very persistent until the issue was found. As a matter of fact, I spent a couple of...
  16. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

I know this has been a royal PITA, but hang in there. Don't let them off the hook with the pulley that is wobbling. Either way that is not right and will certainly create an issue down the road if it is not the root cause of the ticking issue. I am still in the camp the issue lies somewhere...
  17. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

Most definitely a good place for your service center to take a close look.
  18. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

Sticking with the water pump theory, I couldn't see exactly which pulley you were trying to show in one of your videos, but if it's the one in front of the water pump the tensioner pulley could be wobbling causing the noise. As I said, I couldn't see the pulley exactly.
  19. 2015 GT PP -TICK/SCRATCHY/GRINDING noise(Issue Gradually Going Away)

Agreed. Then it would make sense to focus on the water pump. The water pump and the alternator run on the serpentine belt and a faulty water pump could be affecting your alternator sporadically due to a slight drag. Keep in mind I am just a weekend mechanic. :)

It certainly wouldn't be the first time I heard of a brand new alternator having bad windings.
