I figured it out. Did the eq mod and it honestly doesn't make as big a difference as people claim. Im curious what other small stuff I can tweak in forscan
I bought the recommended corded forscan tool and it says just plug it in and start the motor. I did that and nothing shows up....Just blank apps. ? Am i this retarded or what am I doing wrong
Im going to plug the forscan into the laptop and at least get the software going. Mainly want it for sound eq changes and some other small changes. But with all the talk about forscan I can't believe ive owned mustangs for 20 years and I haven't gotten one till now.
Any tips for a first time forscan user? All I really got it for was to disable eq and adjust some door chimes and what not. The instructions are pretty vague with the forscan tool

It's the standard recoil crossover unit. Has 6 brass posts, one with TW, WF, and +-. I plugged it all up and it sounds good. But absolutely nothing is coming out of the tweeters. Im tempted to just leave it wired like this and zip tie the tweeter out of the way. Been working on this forever...
I wired them directly to the crossover box provided by recoil that said TW (tweeter obviously) on the box. Honestly it doesn't sound any difference without the tweeters. And I discovered something very odd. After removing both front door speakers, they are completely different but both have the...
I got the harnesses in the mail today. Somehow I guessed the right adapter plug. Just have to figure out what to do with the tweeter part. I figured out the crossover with the woofer but not sure if the tweeter is even needed...??
Im just confused about the crossover box. The recoil speakers come with a crossover box that is + in - out, and then has a spot for woofer and tweeter. I already have tweeters with the shaker 12 speaker syste. So what do I do with the factory tweeters
