  1. ET Vs Trap Speed

I put them down to 18. Haven't done anything with the suspension. Is that something you need to have a shop do? Just changed the half shafts.
  2. ET Vs Trap Speed

A group has been doing events at an old airfield in the area the past couple of years. Last year they did 1/3 mile, but this year I did 1/4 mile for the first time. No prep at all. Think just showing up to a runway that hasn't been used in 20 years. Anyway, my speed was pretty good, but my time...
  3. Euros Taillights (Which is best?!?!)

They have examples on their website. I think most of them share similar features. Many you see listed, including I believe S550euros, are just Vland. The FP ones function just like stock lights, just with clear lenses. Like I said, I have had them for nearly three years with no issues. My car...
  4. Roush not selling supercharged Mustangs?

Where, is Roush's website, and its based off the fact that they have no supercharged Mustang listed under available vehicles: ROUSH Performance Ford Vehicles https://www.roushperformance.com/vehicles.html
  5. Euros Taillights (Which is best?!?!)

If you like the extra features, go with someone besides FP. I have had the Vland lights for nearly three years without issue.
  6. Roush not selling supercharged Mustangs?

The RS3 was over $25k. It looks like you are still getting everything but the supercharger, even the cooling kit that seems to have been repurposed. So I would say the price is similar. While both are priced high, that has always been my issue with Roush over Shelby. You have to buy the Roush...
  7. Roush not selling supercharged Mustangs?

I was on their site the other day and noticed they have two new Mustang packages available, but neither has a supercharger, even as an option. Anyone know why that might be? Is Roush just done with he S550?
  8. Anyone Else's Insurance Rate Increased? (+30%!)

Rates are regulated in all states (to varying degrees). They didn't give a refund because they wanted to, they did it because they had to look like they where doing something while paying fewer claims when no one was driving. That was one of their most profitable years. Auto Insurers Reaped...
  9. Recommendations for an outside car

My apartment has a garage, buts its not the cleanest place so I keep the car covered. Obviously you dont want to be putting a cover on a dirty car. I have PPF and ceramic coating also, so 95% of the time I just use the California Car Duster before putting the cover back on.
  10. Engine Bay Mods

Looks like the page is gone.
  11. Ford Flood ESP

No. As @Slopoke said, what you do is contact the place you bought the ESP from to cancel it. They will give you a prorated refund and you can buy one for your new car.
  12. Roush Airbox Bolts

Didn't think of that. I dont really understand why such big bolts are needed there in the first place. The two ends are just held on with hose clamps.
  13. New Conti Tire Out!

  14. Observable difference between 21-22 gen 3 motor for sc kits

No denial. There is always going to be someone faster or with more HP, but Roush has its own upsides and makes a good reliable kit. If you feel the need to be a hater that's your issue, not mine.
  15. Observable difference between 21-22 gen 3 motor for sc kits

Can only speak to my experience. Been to the strip a number of times with the Roush supercharger and never had heat soak, though I have their cooling kit also.
  16. Roush Airbox Bolts

Yeah, of course I looked at the manual after the fact. I thought it was just an air filter, how hard could it be. The tube was unclamped and unconnected at the time. I have the piece that broke off and you can see why in wont go in anymore. Must be cross threaded as the bottom of the bolt is...
  17. Roush Supercharged Oil Specs

Not sure why or how testing the oil keeps coming up. In any case, I guess I didn't really miss it since it seems no one pays attention to the specs anyway. Just in case anyone else is ever interested I am just going to note that Ford says to use SN Plus in in a stock engine, and this is from...
  18. Roush Supercharged Oil Specs

No, I wouldn't expect them to test the oil. I dont know about Roush, but I have certainly heard of manufacturers asking for proof of oil changes if something goes wrong with say the engine. The receipt obviously says what oil it is.
  19. Roush Supercharged Oil Specs

From what I read it has something to do with pre ignition. In any case, seeing as Roush says its required, it would probably be best to use it at least while still under warranty.
  20. Roush Supercharged Oil Specs

Just to clear this up, I always understood it needs 5W-50 full synthetic. What I was talking about is the specs that oil must meet. Ford sells two different 5W-50 oils, XO-5W50-QGT and XO-5W50-Q1GT which meets the newer API SN Plus spec. What I didn't know, and couldn't find much info about, was...
