Not really buRNout, got that years ago. 3HP Sontax manufactured in Taiwan don't use it much cordless jigsaw does most of what i need.
Yep too many hobbies master of non:D
Well it got too much for me so went out and found something else in Competition Orange.
Similar styling to the Mustang shark style nose……….hammer head that is and note the LED gill type lighting just like the Mustang drives beautiful and that turning circle is unsurpassed.
But...
I think it will be hard for Ford Australia to sting us too much as it's being built as a right hand vehicle no conversions required, we can see north American prices and the A$ is not too far off for the time being.
So the only add on's are Transport, dollar difference and low volume...
Steady on SeaStang, you can call us Aussies even a Americanised Aussies but don't call us British:paddle:
We drive real vehicles over here not that 2 litre rubbish!!
Can't remember which Perth dealer it was who placed a local rag add in the last 4 weeks stating "We are taking orders for the new 2015 Mustang"
Totally different to the east coast dealers who seem to be denying the existence of the Mustang.
That's interesting, my dealer has now 17 orders with deposits and indicating 1Q 2015 and then you hear others being quoted 2Q 2015.
1 or 2Q makes sense as no more production from FPV except completion of GT-F 351. That would place Ford Australia with out a high performance vehicle to compete...
Just curious how many have placed an order not knowing spec's or pricing ?
I have on a CO fastback GT with PP some time ago. now the wait while Ford Australia give us something......... anything pleeeeeeease :frusty:
My dealer has 17 orders deposits so far as of a few weeks back with no idea of cost or available options.
Delivery being first quarter 2015, we hope !!
G'day nak302
Where did you get the date of October 15 for the Mustang release in Australia ?
I've been told first quarter 15 which ties as FPV cease production later this year and the only V8 available will be the XR8 in the new updated Falcon.
Well just hope your guess is wrong, very hard for Ford Australia to justify that sort of pricing!
Now Ford will be an importer only with very competitive overseas factory pricing you don't think they will want to stick to Holden/Chevy ?
$55k base GT…….$65k with PP+extras, Im thinking they were just educated guesses 3abas as this was quoted way back before any one new of the US/Canadian prices. Now the canadian prices have been released and the Aussie dollar is pretty much on par it probably doesn't seem too far of the mark...
I'v been quoted here in Perth between $55k & $65k + ORC depending on model and specification .
Check with your local dealer they should be able to give you some indication?
If those are the side mirrors for the Australian build guess I'll be ordering replacements from the US.
Don't mind the tail lights, looks good on the black not sure that will work on Competition Orange?
