The all white leather interior might look good with other colors, DIB, Black, Guard. I'm straining to see all the other Mustangs in the background though.
Never mind I think I figured it out. The longer spoiler would hit the antenna when extended if you open the trunk. Ok new question: Does the small rear window fold down with the top?
I think short trips really skew the results. I give it a few days before I rely on the numbers. Still getting 22+ on mixed driving around town and highway miles to work. Down to 20 when I tested the Track Apps. GT w/3:55's, 93 octane, up to 24 on interstate trip without resetting at start, it...
Tried it today for the first time. 5.2 sec, 0-60, 13.2 1/4 mile @ 106 MPH. I'm sure I can shave .5 or more off with practice. Still pulled hard up to 120+ too!
Here's my breakdown of the difference between the Premium package toggles in the test drive car I drove and my base GT. The toggles have the same functions for Hazard, Steering Feel and Traction Control as the black buttons on the base. The difference is the "mode" switch combines two of those...
Accosted at the grocery store today. Woman knocks on the window and says, "let's go for a ride". My wife would not have approved ;-) Asst. manager of the store drooled over it too. Is this the 2015? Is it the GT? Got the V8? Is that the stock exhaust? Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Funny, nobody asks...
I like your logic. I haven't tried any 87 in mine yet, even asked for 93 when dealer filled it, but will do a comparison soon. Still averaging 22mpg in my GT and it seems the Ecoboost is falling behind in mileage estimates.
Love the hood and trunk decklid, very retro, but I'm not a fan of the big mouth grill(kinda Chrysler-ish) or the wheels(look like a toy model). The extra gills are neat but I'd like to see a full profile pic to see how much longer the nose fits in with the stock body. All this IMHO of course...
Congrats on the purchase. My first Mustang was a V6, it's no slouch. I went with a GT this time because it has been a long time since I've had a V8 in anything but a truck. Also the first 2015 I saw and test drove was Competition Orange, if you haven't seen it in person you will be blown away...
I think it may be that the weatherstripping and insulation are so snug it just hangs. If I open and close it repeatedly it pops up a little, but not so much the first time and not as much as my 2011 Mustang. I just kinda wish it would spring open like my Dad's Buick.
i thought that was a logical assumption too, but tried it on mine...nothing. You have to reach in, push start to get to the ACC then roll up on the door.
Not that I can find in the owners manual, PRESS UNLOCK/HOLD/RELEASE to roll all the way down and PRESS UNLOCK/HOLD/RELEASE/PRESS AGAIN to stop travel in a different position. No mention of roll up feature.
SURPRISE: the key fob window down feature will be a nice thing to let the heat out next summer. I wondered why they separated the turn signal and wiper functions until I realized you can preset the "intermittent" now and resume from there next time you turn it on, had to scroll from off...
