That’s what I requested and that’s what I’ve been told. I’ve had an active case # with Ford for the past month. Definitely the last Ford I buy.

  10. Metallic raspy rattling sound when accelerating hard above 4000k rpm

I have something similar perhaps. Long story short, my 17’ 350R has about 6200 miles on it now and since about 1000 miles it has had a very noticeable rattle, almost like a loose heat shield, coming from the front of the car. It only happens when the car is warm (takes about 10 miles of easy...

I would think they would be able to isolate it as well...It’s easy to hear and reproduce so I’m a bit confused as to how they haven’t been able to fix it. Definitely sounds external like a metal-to-metal rattle/vibration. Sounds like it’s coming from the front drivers side but could be echoing...
  12. Guidance on what to do

Does it in Nuetral as well. This is how I’ve been able to fairly easily reproduce the sound to the technicians each time.

  17. Scuffed Carbon Fiber rim...argh

I was told by my dealer, whether correctly or not, that any break in the painted surface that exposed the bare carbon would be considered to degrade the safety of the whee and therefore merit replacement under the ford wheel/tire replacement plan. Has anyone else heard that?

  19. Rattle

Correct, I only heard the rattle when warm. From the sounds you shared, mine was louder and also it was audible in all exhaust modes.
  20. Rattle

On my 2017 R, I noticed a rattle that only happened when I was around 3-4K rpms. Sounded like a heat shield and only happened when the car was warm. Took 2 trips to the dealer for them to finally be able to reproduce it but it turned out to be one of the valves in the muffler. Figured I would...
