Thanks everyone. My old drag racing days were long ago and the harness/helmet requirements were pretty lax. We are getting excited about the trip. We will be visiting colleges before and after my track days. Will be driving all over N & S Carolina.

Ah man, three more weeks of phase 2 for NC. I was hoping for a move to phase 3 prior to my track attack on 7/15 & 16. Oh well, I understand why. Please wear masks people.

Good advice, the GT350 class does not have the drag race portion unfortunately.

I have decided to opt out. After watching and reading about others experiences, the follow the leader style seems to lend itself to very low risk. However, I have some experience on a track. If I was a first timer, I might consider it more.

I purchased a new 2018 Orange Fury w/ black painted roof and black stripes last week. Drove it home from WI to Kansas City. Breaking in the motor and can't wait to hear what it sounds like opened up.
