My guest was my 17 year old son. He was into it and loved it. There is a lot of sitting for the guest. If she is not that into it, I would try the refund route.
Thanks. I have lived in KC for 25 years. I just purchased my GT350 in WI as I got a hell of a deal on a new '18 in April of this year. I usually avoid dealerships, but with the warranty I want a place that is good with these cars.
Hello,
This dealership is touting itself as a Shelby American Authorized dealer. I am looking for a dealership when I need to take my '18 GT350 in for service. I purchased in WI and live in MO. Anyone have either knowledge of this dealership or another in the KC area that you trust/like?
You are going to have a blast. Enjoy your time. I sure did.
Tacos 4 Life is a great place with an outside patio. Also a great pizza place inside the mall, Alino's Pizza. It is huge, so you can social distance.
Sub $57 is an amazing deal for a '19. The WI dealership I used just wanted to get their new '18 off the lot after 2 years. Ordered it for a long standing customer who ended up getting cancer and passing away prior to the car being delivered.
Shorts and a t-shirt is all you need. It will be hot as hell in those suits. The worst part is waiting in the cars, helmet and hans on strapped in. Once you get going you forget about the heat, but waiting is the worst. I brought an extra shirt, but if you have a dry fit one it will dry out over...
One thing I learned at the track attack was these cars don't like the mashing of the petal. The car would hesitate and you would have to lift and then back on the gas to reset. The instructors kept saying to ease into the throttle.
The second day is in race prepared GT's, not a GT350. The second day has 5 track sessions vs. 3 for the GT350 day 1. You will do 2 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. Two of these are by yourself on the course with your group of drivers. The instructors are driving a car as well, but no lead...
I am back from my two days at CLT motor speedway. I can't speak highly enough about the instructors at this school. The program is run so well. We had rain in the afternoon of the second day that caused the guys who upgraded to the cup 2 tires to have them changed for the session 3 and some left...
