I went in to the owner.ford.com website and it shows v2.3 update available for the APIM I put in my car. In the process of downloading it now thanks! Hopefully it will install correctly on the non-nav APIM.
Should I perform the step 4 of confirming the update to the Ford website?
Finished my Sync 3 swap today and renewed my Forscan license a few weeks ago.
Switched APIM to the Ford blue GT theme, 7D0-01-01 xxxx x4xx xxxx.
Ford Performance GT splash screen, 7D0-03-01 xxxx xDxx xxxx.
Turned on the heated/cooled seats in Sync 3, 7D0-01-01 xxxx xxxx x2xx

Got some drive time today in the car. The exhaust has a different deeper muted tone with the mat installed and there is definitely less road noise transmitted through the trunk. The joints in the road have an audible dull thud sound and is more quiet than before. I currently have it installed...
Thanks to this thread I did the swap on my car from sync 2/MFT w/nav to sync 3 non-nav. I built my own adapter harness for the USB hub from the parts listed in the first post. I also swapped the MFT brackets to the sync 3 APIM with a T8 torx bit driver from lowes.
My Sync 3 APIM and screen...
I received mine today after being held up at the Fed Ex for about the last 5 days because of our snow storm and road conditions.
The mat looks to be very impressive! It is much thicker and heavier than I was envisioning. I look forward to putting this in the car and getting some time behind...
I am hoping the same thing. Even though the compressors are pretty quiet as is in the tire well. I am sure this will help. Especially looking to reduce road noise/feedback from the tires and all the bearings I have in the IRS.
Order placed. Thanks for producing this!
I used an old school phone jack splitter and standard mirror tap for mine for awhile when I was using the BT adapter. After I setup up my custom scans for Ka I stopped using the Bluetooth adapter.
I have therace spec, first gen I guess. It is before they released the x-spec.
It has been installed since August '15. I was able to get to the 4 corner bolts with the boot installed. When I first installed it in Aug '15 it kicked my buddy's and my butt trying to get the boot to seat on the...
I bought the bracket racer Race Stars last year during the BF sale. They are the same as the polished/dark stars but the bracket racers come in a gloss charcoal gray power coat to lower the costs.
The easiest way I have found to install the boot on my race spec is to install the boot on the upper shifter assembly then install it and the boot through the body hole, tighten the bolts without unseating the boot from the shifter then pull the boot back up through the body to seal it.
I had it hit the low tire pressure threshold around 20 psi the last time I went to the strip and aired down the rear tires.
I does not affect the traction control or advance trac. I was still able to turn it off. It will pop up the tire pressure warning in the center every time you start it...
I am ready for the black with triple yellow fill. Maybe I can finally pull the 5.0 badges and cover the unsightly holes ford had to put in the fenders!
I had to relocate my O2's on my stainless works also to run the BMR loop but then was getting interference between it and the MGW. I went with the Stifflers loop and it bolts into the trans mount bolts you may still have clearance issues with the rear O2's though.
RoushStangI don't believe the different splash screens work on the sync 2 vehicles. I tried all on of the mentioned ones from the spreadsheet and none of them worked on my car. Still the OEM splash screen.
Yes it is close but not nearly as close as it was with the BMR loop. The flat top of the Stifflers sits just below the foam insulation that I applied to the bottom and sides of the MGW when I did the installation.
I have the race spec original but I have no issues with the Stifflers loop. I actually changed from the BMR loop because the MGW was rattling against the top of the loop and I didn't have room the Dynotech driveshaft to lower the loop.
With Stifflers they are both bolted solid to the trans so...
In that case the mufflers are serialized as well and with the serial numbers Corsa should be able to tell which mufflers they are.
I was unsure if the sport mufflers had the perforated part inside the muffler.
