Yes, the one in the image in the OP is for a boost controller. We are talking about having a specific mount for the airlift 3p/h controller made to mount solidly in the same space right in the front tray area below the switches.
I had previously posted the dimensions in the other boost...
I imagine it could be removed without pulling the trans but it will be tuff. It is bolted to the crankcase right by the transmission bell housing around the 1 o'clock position looking at the back of the engine and the sensor itself is at least 6" long. It might be able to be pulled from the top...
The crankshaft position sensor is behind the passenger side head in the block and goes down and reads off of the tone wheel mounted behind the flex plate/flywheel. It is not at the front of the motor.
I really thought this would catch on and we would have no problem reaching 10 people.
I would be willing to pay slightly more than the $50 to get this done or maybe purchase 2 at the $50 price. I would also be willing to ship the controller overnight if I could get it back within a week. My...
If you are tuned I would ask for a revision for the cold start timing to tame it down. It will be really loud for approx. 30 seconds with the factory negative spark timing for cat warm up. I believe on the factory start up it is actually firing the spark while the exhaust cam has the valves...
Headers definitely increase the sound a tone output of the Corsa sport cat back. You will also notice a distinct more crisp sound of every cylinder firing with the long tubes. I started catless and it was a little much for me, raspy/tinny, sounding so I put the high flow cats on and that was...
I have made the stage 1 kit on mine from the original thread he made that was closed. It was okay but I wanted more. I purchased his stage 4 kit in November and installed shortly after. It is a little expensive but it makes the blower whine scream! It is audible even with the windows down...
When I was NA I noticed a big difference going to E85 with my Lund flex fuel tune. On E85 your able to run more timing even all the way down in the low revs.
I was having an issue with fuel prime when I went to a return fuel system. My new pressure regulator does not hold pressure on the fuel rails any more during cranking. I have changed a setting in my tune to run the pump any time the key is in the accessory mode. I think the clutch pedal only...
So the first one primes the fuel pump when opening the door? I don't see how that would be useful.
The camera soft button would be nice if you could activate it without being in reverse. Might have to try this one out on my mustang. I am guessing we would change the asterisk to 8 because our...
I use the same mount as well for my phone to the right of the SYNC 3 screen.
I still think it would be nice to have a more permanent mount down in the coin tray where I have mine laying now. It fits nicely if you let it block the front USB port but now have sync 3 and android auto I use that...
I am down for one if it cost about the same as the boost controller mounts.
I am sure with all the people on here now on the airlift air ride we should be able to come up with 10 people.
Have you done the crank relearn procedure since the install? It is in Whipple's install instructions after flashing their tune. Not doing will also cause the random mis-fire and blinking check engine light.
SpartI had seen it previously mentioned and figured I would enable it to see if it would work like a digital speedo. It does not act like that it is truly a average speed indicator that averages the speed digitally in the IPC center screen since the last reset. Press and hold to reset like the...
I plan on putting it over the Blockit mat it was just taking up room in the house being un-rolled so I went and quickly stuck it in the trunk after it sat out for a few hours.
I noticed also I think the Weather Tech liner would probably interfere with the lower trunk net mounts which is one...
