F-35 Mustang
Hey all, I have a supervisor here on base who's wife is the secretary for the Commander in charge of the F-35 program next door to us at Eglin AFB. His wife just sent him this email, along with the photo of what the F-35 Mustang will end up looking like. Sorry if this is old news...
I'm Air Force, and stationed at hurlburt, right next to Elgin where they are training the pilots on them. Always see them flying, or used to. 2nd plane caught fire while taxiing about two weeks ago:thumbdown:
I'm a spec ops weapons specialist (train troops on the weapons systems they will be utilizing downrange, marksmanship, field strip, maintenance etc.) so as long as there's terrorists i get to keep my job lol. And the wife is military police....soooo...ditto for her lol my mustang now is my...
I think that is what MRiley was trying to explain. You're worried about the sound of the exhaust and what will happen when you make it louder. If i were you i would be worrying about the dramatic performance increase you would get over your current V6 model. Progress your way into this, its too...
Thank you! and i just talked to the dealer today, and apparently there is a $3,500 rebate, plus i get an additional $500 off for military appreciation from Ford thats eligible with the X plan pricing (thats not including the $400 i save on documentation fees that are $500). Problem with waiting...
Ha actually it will be due sometime in October. And she already has a 2012 GMC terrain. Even now whenever we go out and run errands we take the terrain, so that angle is already covered and the mustang upgrade has already been approved by her, just gotta stay below her car payments. Which is...
Not dumb at all, nice to see someone so enthusiastic about the mustang, and a G35 coupe ain't so bad until you get your own stang. Allow me to shed this light on the topic. My first car was a 1996 Camaro z28 with the LT1 engine when I was 15. When I first started driving it,mi was TERRIFIED of...
I knew it, the aliens are ahead of us on production of the mustang! They prolly even already told all their alien buddies the HP and weight numbers, damn their advanced technology!
There is so much wtf going on in this picture, I don't even.......badgeless, mule exhaust, funky rims, Ricky dink trailer, and rivets.....what does this all mean?
This is why I think ford is taking this secrecy thing too far. Rumors getting out of hand and making peoples expectations astronomical. I think everyone is just starting to throw in a guess and hoping they're right. Then it will be a "you heard it here first folks" type of deal. I refuse to...
I don't care for either one, I will most likely swap it out for a black billet grille (would go with the oxford white EB) either way. Other than that, hood vents and badging all trims look identical to me
Oh yeah I know all about the fuel, my SRT was the same way. Especially if I got the EB I would go larger turbo and injectors way later on..I would be right back in the same boat as a 5.0
Yeah I can get the x plan with a membership for some veterans program, so I will def be taking full advantage of that. But I never thought about insurance costs until today, and that's gonna be a huge incentive for the ecoboost for me....IF it's gonna be that much cheaper than a GT
