  1. Favorite 2015 Mustang Color?

I'm starting to think these reps at these shows are just more or less fords "bouncers" keeping people from popping the hoods, taking pics they shouldn't be, getting up on the carousel, etc. not information. Ford probably doesn't give them jack crap for info, the execs want to be the ones...

  3. Take it for what it's worth....

I don't know about the v6 hp either. I wasn't for sure in the first place about the current v6 HP I just knew it was just as much or more than my 2008 (when it was stock).but I didn't pay any mind to what he was saying about the V6 as I have absolutely no interest in that model. It was hard...
  4. Take it for what it's worth....

I ran into the same issue with my SRT-4. But If the v6 is at 305, and they make the ecoboost only 310-315, is ten horsepower going to justify spending more money on a smaller engine with the potential for worse gas mileage? I would want a significant power difference to justify spending more...
  5. Take it for what it's worth....

Right, my thinking is that Ford had originally planned for the v6 model to rival the V6 Camaro in performance, but at some point along the way it was decided the EcoBoost was going to be the main contender. And correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the development of this mustang started in like...
  6. Take it for what it's worth....

So today we had a small "Spec Ops Special Look" on base where I'm stationed with Ford and their new F150. I didn't even know about this, and possibly over looked the email saying they were gonna be on base showing their new truck. They had a short intro talking about all the new features of the...
  7. 2.3L EcoBoost 2015 Mustang Engine Spotted

Here ya go...you can hear the turbo spool under heavy acceleration [ame]
  8. Q&A with Dave Pericak

Also, the Triple Yellow has a satellite radio antenna bump on the roof, whereas the (suspected) base trim red GT does not. So the full colored diffuser may in fact be a base model, so whatever trim this is, most likely wont include MFT, unless this one is just lacking the Tech Package, if thats...
  9. Q&A with Dave Pericak

I'm afraid this is possibly just a victim of preproduction parts. It's most likely ford just experimenting with the different styles to see what works best with the car. I wouldn't be surprised if this is all standardized by the time production happens. Or it might be something like GT models...
  10. Favorite 2015 Mustang Color?

I still like competition orange....all this needs are the black PP rims
  11. 2015 Mustang in Deep Impact Blue Spotted at Barrett Jackson

Yeah, when I first remembered this feature I thought it was controlled by an interior button...shame they put this feature on cars that will have drivers that know nothing about what it actually does. Wonder why they didn't first try it on a true performance vehicle like a mustang
  12. 2015 Mustang in Deep Impact Blue Spotted at Barrett Jackson

Wasn't it the Taurus or fusion that had/has the electronic open/close grille that closed up at speeds or something? Would be interesting if they incorporated it in thr mustang, similar to NASCAR pit crews adding and taking grille tape off. Now that I think about it, it might have been a Chevy...
  13. Q&A with Dave Pericak

Thats exactly what i was thinking. I scoffed at the news when they released the EcoBoost engine in the lineup, but after the info has been trickling out, i might save the ~$10,000 from the GT model and pick up the EcoBoost with the PP. Like i said before...I'm gonna take a guess at 330HP for the...
  14. Q&A with Dave Pericak

Im afraid we are starting to teeter totter on that fine line to where this secrecy of all this info with nothing leaking out is starting to become counter productive for Ford. Im sure all who are watching this '15 mustang are getting frustrated with the lack of info....people need time to make a...
  15. 2015 Ford Mustang Auto Show Debut at Detroit - Live Coverage

i think this was already done, there is a video or a picture of the mule and a Boss on the track together if im not mistaken
  16. 2015 Ford Mustang Auto Show Debut at Detroit - Live Coverage

while i would like to agree and hope for 450 HP i just dont see it bumping up that much. Like what was said on the "guess the coyote HP" or whatever its called thread, i think ford will give Boss owners a bit of cushion and limit the GT to around 430-435...MAYBE 440. From what ive read though...
  17. 2015 Ford Mustang Auto Show Debut at Detroit - Live Coverage

Im gonna go with ZR.....and that picture is of the front i believe, so i would assume at least one size wider for the rears? What comes stock on the 13-14 GT500's? Because these look beefier than the GT500 wheels for some reason
  18. 2015 Ford Mustang Auto Show Debut at Detroit - Live Coverage

Then I'll be hoping for...."we able to completely redesign the 2015 Mustang GT for a 400lb lighter chassis to fully take advantage of the new additions of the Coyote 5.0 Engine to fully utilize all 430HP and 410 ft. lbs. torque." thats exactly how its gonna go down...just you watch
