I'll explain it to you a little bit. With the fill process, fluid is pulled into a closed loop. When you turn in the pump you open the loop and only put fluid in one end. As the pump is pulling out air, it pulls in the fluid. When you turn off the pump you close it again so the fluid cannot flow...
Alright guys, I know you don't trust me, so I'm going to just start out with a special offer. For those who buy the "SchultzLT1 Backyard Engineering Solutions" (Official Name) "Backyard Cooling Kit" I will drop the price to $949 no taxes all cash under the table, and include "Accessory #13"(my...
Hahaha I may have had to refrain from bringing up my physics backround when those comments were made. :ninja:
But really I'm just a dumb construction worker
I may downplay my knowledge a little bit, but that's ok, I can understand you don't really know me and I am joking around a little bit.
And that method? Do you realize that "fill your transmission until it reaches the bottom of the fill hole." Is the method used to change your transmission...
That's it. I'm going wholesale. For $1000 and the flight to come to you, I'll start installing coolers on site.
....must include the flight to get me home
Hahaha limp mode is so mentally agonizing!
So many solutions to this! I'll give somebody the extra 1/2 quart of BG Synchro Shift 2 that I have so you can do the full 4 1/2 quart fill when you out on your kit! Takers?!
I agree and disagree here, but let me explain. The issue is with the transmission. The trans spinning is what creates heat. On back roads, you don't have nearly as many sharp turns and curves, so you're probably going between 70-120 if your back roads are fairly easy going. As a result, people...
I think the point of it was to say why does Ford need to give transmissions and coolers away at cost? The people who hit limp mode in traffic, or cruising down the highway, or under any normal driving conditions absolutely, yes, need their cars figured out and fixed. People going to the track or...
You're right, it is a legitimate complaint, and Ford should have done something about it. Especially for people like me, who ordered their car before some dealerships even knew what it was, and before any info on the topic or condition came out.
Why I come in here? Well a few reasons.... I have...
They came out with a solution, they are telling people they will sell them the OEM trans and cooler from the track pack. That's it. Who did they promise a solution to? It was months before the even acknowledged a problem. I don't think they promised anybody anything.
Its no secret that a lot of millenials are cry babies. I'd even be willing to bet that a lot of people bitching have never experienced limp mode, so Ford really owes them nothing. They are just assuming that their car won't work.
I can tell everybody that it feels so much better when people ask me about it at the track or at shows and I say "no I took care of that problem." Rather than bitching about being deceived.
