I've never had a manual with hill hold. So when I first brought this Mustang home and anticipated starting on a hill without it, it was a surprise that I didn't have to place any effort into getting moving again. I've gotten used to it since and haven't turned it off yet.

What about applying Woolwax or Fluid Film? Used it on previous SUV's, but had to apply each fall. Kept the rust from forming on the undercarriage. I haven't decided if I will apply it to the Mustang though.

Watching. I don’t plan to drive in the snow, but in Allentown we have pretty much the same weather as NJ.

The pins are mounted to the radiator supports.

I know!! I almost passed on buying the car originally because of it. But considering the mileage and how clean it was, I figured I’d just find a way to get rid of them.

Has anyone installed hood pins and then changed them because they didn’t like them? Bought my Mustang just over a week ago, it came with hood pins installed by a previous owner. I believe these might be Scott Drake billet hood pins. Rather than resort to buying a new hood, how hard would it be...

I just turn mine off after I back into my parking spot. Although, I probably exceed those 5-10 seconds of letting it run (unintentionally) before actually shutting it off.
