  1. Adjustable camber plates?

I noticed that yesterday, including the fact that the owner of those pedders plates cut off the tops of the car's strut housings to have (better) access to the adjustment screws. That's a mod I'd rather avoid. Perhaps the small opening in the center hole of the S550's strut housing is why we...
  2. Adjustable camber plates?

The Camaro photo is what I have in mind. As far as the tolerances/adjustments of the various components, what I would have in mind is setting the adjustable camber plates to the same setting on each side (for example, the most inside setting on each) and then having the negative camber set...
  3. Adjustable camber plates?

Thank you. I am familiar with those but they do not appear to be designed for having two settings (street and track). I was hoping to find that such a thing exists among the camber plate kits that are out there. Thank you again for your response.
  4. Adjustable camber plates?

Is anyone aware of a manufacturer making camber plates for the S550 that allow for adjustment from a 'street' setting to a 'track' setting and back? I am currently on the PP struts and progressive Steeda springs and would be interested in such adjustment to save on tire wear. Also, if such a...
  5. Brake Rotors: What are people using?

I use middle-of-the road Centric blank rotors on my FR-S time trial car with no brake ducting, where I've had them hot enough to glow, and where I've had to increase the pads from Carbotech xp8 to xp10 due to fade, and they have not yet broken or warped. I am a fan of the Centrics. I replace...
  6. Smallest wheels and narrowest snow tires that will fit a PP2?

Tire Rack will say that certain tire widths are 'not recommended' even though they are a better and certainly reasonable width.
  7. Pennsylvania Ford Performance by Borla Catback Exhaust Black Tips

Price drop to $700. I believe this to be a Sport based upon sound clips. If there is a way to tell the difference between a Sport and Touring by looking at it I would be happy to check.
  8. HPDE/TT without adding camber

I have had the same feeling at times with the state of the development of the rules, which appears to be intentionally low-key like the program's spirit has been to date. I had an issue this year at TT Nats where there was a dispute regarding what constituted being out of bounds where there was...
  9. HPDE/TT without adding camber

This is great. Do you know where I can find these instructions?
  10. Pennsylvania Ford Performance by Borla Catback Exhaust Black Tips

Greetings. This exhaust was on the car I bought about 5 days ago. It sounds great but a bit too loud for a daily driver in my neighborhood IMO. This is clearly a quality product. It weighs 25.6 lbs less than the stock catback by my calculations. Comes with all the hardware pictured. I took...
  11. Ewheels Road Course Build

I would look into what Carbotech pads others are running. I have been using them on my FR-S time trials car, and I have really liked them. I would also recommend trying out the SCCA's Time Trials program. The TT Nationals Tour events for 2020 were recently announced, and many regions and...
  12. Magna flow Tru X resonator with otherwise stock catback?

I'm hoping that the Tru X will be slightly louder, slightly lighter, and slightly less restrictive in an otherwise stock exhaust than it would be on a completely stock exhaust. The exhaust I have now has an x pipe rather than a resonator.
  13. HPDE/TT without adding camber

That is a nice thing about the RE's - the flipping.
  14. Magna flow Tru X resonator with otherwise stock catback?

Thank you, but after finding and reading a thread, I ordered one from cjponyparts - $200 on black friday sale. I'm picking up a stock exhaust I found for $80 this week. The car that I bought a couple days ago has a Ford Performance/Borla cat back which sounds great, but is too loud for my...
  15. Magna flow Tru X resonator with otherwise stock catback?

Has anyone tried this or a similar replacement for the stock resonator? I'd like to get a free-flowing, lighter exhaust without adding alot of noise. Thank you.
  16. HPDE/TT without adding camber

I see that it competes against the GT350 in T2, and I didn't read the entire list of cars it competes against. So it looks like it's an underdog in S2 and T2, which is ok but good to know going in. It also looks like building to the limits or even close to it in cam-c would require alot of...
  17. HPDE/TT without adding camber

Thank you, this is great. I still have the FR-S and I plan to keep it and keep racing it. I may continue to focus my money and energy there (which is cheap to run). I like the idea of having more power (who doesn't) in a sports car which for the price made the Mustang GT a standout. It may...
  18. HPDE/TT without adding camber

Greetings. I just picked up a 2016 GT with PP. I have been doing TT events with the SCCA for the last two years in re-invigorated time trials program in a Scion FR-S I have about 10 TT events under my belt, along with a few HPDE events including and PDE instruction (as a student of course)...
  19. Introduce yourself!!

Hi Everyone - I just picked up a 2016 Deep Impact Blue Mustang GT, Premium, Performance Package. It is paired with my 'other daily driver' and Time Trial/Autocross car, a Scion FR-S. Looking forward to participating in the forum.
  20. 2016 GT Premium, PP, Deep Impact Blue/Black roof from NY

I may end up getting the last owner's name upon completion of the sale. The last two cars I purchased, I simply asked for a copy of the 'old' title and I got it. However, I only got it at the time of sale and not before.
