I just bought my wife a new Lexus GS350 which I drive often. We work together in the family business and are together a good 20 hours per day most days. Hey it works for us. I will likely put in more miles driving the Lexus than the GT350.
Buying NON R tech pack. Exhaust sounds awesome on vids and I understand way better in person. I have no interest in, "upgrading/changing" exhaust in any way. This is the first car in the last 20 years I haven't changed exhaust. There are very precious mods that I plan on making for...
I agree with thread starter COMPLETELY. For all of the reasons stated above I'm stoked about my impending Shelby.
That said, I'm glad there are those who prefer Chevy... less competition for me to buy my GT350. My best friend is a GM guy. He owned several Trans Ams before marriage...
Nice to read about the gt350 with tech pack as that's what I have on order last 4 of vin 0743.. It seems the car will be everything I want and at a price I'm happy to pay. There may be faster cars, Like the R, and there may be cheaper cars which also give a thrill like a regular gt...
Video sounds like gathering incriminating evidence against yourself. I think I would make the choice not to go that way. That said, I would watch your videos!
Well, I'm going to assume that GM will up their game and catch or pass the gt350 (maybe the r) in all out track performance. Then likely Ford will do that same.... This is how the breed improves. Both cars are so very far beyond my skill set that I will just buy the car that I like...
I have been fortunate and have a msrp deal on a Non R Tech pack ordered to my specs. That said, I've been on it since the first rumors of a flat plane crank surfaced. This was way before my dealership had any idea this car was on the horizon.
Good luck, at this point it's going to be rough.
YES it is on par with slower (manual) version of each of these cars. However the faster (auto) version of these cars have a significant advantage. While that's not the end of the world, it's also not awesome!
I can't believe these #s will stand. The ATS-V sedan ran:
Zero to 60 mph: 3.9 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 8.4 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 13.9 sec
Zero to 150 mph: 19.8 sec
Rolling start, 5-60 mph: 4.7 sec
Top gear, 30-50 mph: 2.4 sec
Top gear, 50-70 mph: 3.2 sec
Standing ÂĽ-mile: 12.1 sec @ 122...
Well if it's, "NOT CLOSE to what people were hoping for" I would likely dump it. However I don't know if I get what you're asking. You say it's all there including GREAT HANDLING. To me great handing is a large part of PERFORMANCE.
When you say performance isn't close, do you mean...
Tangible means something you can touch. By defintion Breasts Augmentation are definately gains you can touch.
Additionally HP isn't always a plus to the experience. There are cars which have more HP than can reasonably be put to use. I have a buddy with 2 2014 gt500's, a zo6, a...
I met a PERFECT young lady about 20 years ago. She was maybe 110#'s natural blonde, fit body, perfectly proportionate attributes.... Think 20 year old Jessica Alba. Somewhere in our first conversation, I asked, "So when one is born with PERFECT astetics, does it free you up to address other...
I have offered my dealership manager a wonderful dinner for him and his family at any steakhouse he chooses. All I ask for is that he sell me the car for $1 UNDER MSRP. This ofcourse for UNDER MSRP bragging rights.
Thus far, he hasn't confirmed that he can go even $.01 under. We...
Yes I have a vin. I didn't note the exact date that I ordered. I suppose I could call my dealer and ask. I'm thinking it was Mid May, but it could have been a little earlier. I was on my dealer for 6+ months (I have a personal relationship with a manager) and he called me the first day he...
