These are Ford Racing Boss 302s 19x9 in black with 245/45 Michelin X-Ice tires.

Yeah, $50 is the price to have a tire unmounted and have a new tire mounted and balanced. I think they didn't want the work. And probably had never seen a 305/50-19 before.

I guess I had a $10/ea price in my head. So I was very thrown off by $25 and $50 each. The guy at Town Fair didn't ask the size. He just said, "two seventy-five" and I had to clarify, "You mean two dollars and seventy five cents?"

Just to unmount and give me the tires back. For unmounting 305/30-19 Sport Cup 2 tires, the dealer wanted $25 each. That seemed high, but Sullivan Tire wanted $50 each. Then I asked Town Fair Tire, and the guy said $3 each. I don't know what to think.

When I change my oil, I put in 5 quarts. It just feels right and it has been more than enough on all the other cars I've owned. I don't need the owner's manual to tell me what to do. :crazy:
