I used the same method. Calling dealers with late 21 arrivals. Found a few 21's at $5k ADM before I found my MSRP deal. Was tempted to get a 21 at $5k ADM but instead I ordered a 22 @ MSRP and waited 7 months. Lol. 7 Months I missed on driving one I guess. But man it was really...

Man I just didn't have to put up with any of that fuckery. 100% straight forward MSRP + Price Protection deal since I ordered in early Feb of 2022. No pressure to finance thru the dealer, Ford or anyone. I did not finance a penny. Signed papers. Handed them a cashiers check, spent an hour...
Damn. I thought I was the only Iconic black stripe in DFW. 🤣 Howdy Twin. Glad you got it sorted out. The only mystery noise I have is the Track Exhaust around 1500-2k RPMs vibrates some plastic panel on the rear passenger side.
Congrats on your bad azz ride! Flew out and drove my 22 GT500 home as well to North TX. The 500 can get good mileage if you want it to. I got 20mpg with cruise set to 73mph.
