Looks like they took the windshield wiper arm off during the repair and didn't locate it properly on the spindle when they put it back on. Probably needs to be taken off and put back on in proper location.
Should be able to prop the hood, get at wiper arm from underneath hood, take off rubber...
You need a spacer when replacing the stock knob with a round one. FP should sell a spacer, if not there are lots of websites where you can order one. Measure the gap for correct spacer size

I would stick round feltac pads on the car under where the corners of the plate will sit. That way the plate will only rub on the feltac not on the paint. The feltac will not hurt your paint and will peel off when you want. I thought about putting the feltac on the back side of the plate but if...

Harry, looks like Mackie has proper transporters now. I actually see them running around Whitby/Oshawa area from time to time. GM used to use them to transport Camaros to car shows when Camaro production was in Oshawa.
