When I ordered my GT convertible I specified 3.55 gears to complement the manual because I wanted this to be my "fun" car. I don't spend much time in traffic but a lot of time on back roads & open freeways. For me the manual is more fun.

The seats themselves, are they the same with the Tech package as without?

I think you're probably right about the resale value, but my question is more around the actual content of the package. It seems like the base car already now comes with the seats and blind spot monitoring, the package just adds seat memory and backup sensors.

Looking at the 2022 order guide and the base car comes with 6-way power seats (with power lumbar) and are heated/cooled. Looks like the Technology Package just adds memory to the same seats. Is that right? Side view mirrors are listed with "Integrated Blind Spot" but the technology package...

Took delivery January 2015 after the first round of convertible builds. Only around 25k miles but still in love with it.

Having to be fully stopped to raise/lower the top is a pain in my Mustang, but it's more than made up for by being able to carry a large range bag, ammo box, and bag of carbines to the local shooting spot with the top down.

Only an "average" person would say that. For us tall guys that car might as well not exist. A Cayman isn't an option for me any more than a Miata is. Last Miata I tried to drive my eyeline was over the top of the windshield.

Interesting that they are now taking orders, but don't advertise the price nor the power levels. Two things I'd probably want to know before ordering.

Since you're asking opinions, mine has never seen a car wash of any type. Can't imagine those automated ones are good on seals let alone the cloth top. For 3 1/2 years mine's been hand washed only, and only by me.

Sorry you're having issues. I've not noticed any water intrusion no matter how hard the rain when I'm driving. Mine is garaged so I haven't had any issues with leaves or other debris building up. Hard to imagine that would cause water to enter the vehicle as shown in your photo. Wish you...

My bet would be the sensor was jolted during install process. Either it's own or something near it that bumped it. Wouldn't take much of a knock to register a crazy number. Nothing to worry about on a car fresh from the factory.

I had the same dilemma when I ordered my car GUARD back in 2014. Ended up taking the leap of faith and it worked out for me.
