  1. Ford Mustang is #12 Most Price Marked Up Vehicle (Over MSRP)

I've tried to order a '22 GT500 but my local dealer wants $10k over sticker to even talk about it.
  2. Why did you buy an automatic? (and why I ordered a 6spd)

    They were optional in 2015.
  3. 2022 GT500 order thread

No, but I really wish they would!
  4. Why did you buy an automatic? (and why I ordered a 6spd)

When I ordered my GT convertible I specified 3.55 gears to complement the manual because I wanted this to be my "fun" car. I don't spend much time in traffic but a lot of time on back roads & open freeways. For me the manual is more fun.
  5. Why does Ford advertise Co-Pilot360 features despite not having them?

BLIS is an option, part of the $3,000 Technology Package. Definitely sounds like charging extra for safety features standard on most other Fords.
  6. What are your favorite 2022 colors?

Haven't placed an order yet, going to make sure things go well at tax time first, but when I do I think it has to be Mischievous Purple Metallic. I understand Ford has only offered a purple option 4 times in the last 55 years (not counting color shifting options) so going with the most unique...
  7. Question: Tech Package Content vs Base?

The seats themselves, are they the same with the Tech package as without?
  8. Question: Tech Package Content vs Base?

I think you're probably right about the resale value, but my question is more around the actual content of the package. It seems like the base car already now comes with the seats and blind spot monitoring, the package just adds seat memory and backup sensors.
  9. Question: Tech Package Content vs Base?

Looking at the 2022 order guide and the base car comes with 6-way power seats (with power lumbar) and are heated/cooled. Looks like the Technology Package just adds memory to the same seats. Is that right? Side view mirrors are listed with "Integrated Blind Spot" but the technology package...
  10. 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP order, build & delivery! (video)

Enjoyed the video. Paul Murrey Ford is my "hometown" dealership and where I bought my current GT ragtop. I've bought at least a half dozen cars and trucks from them and will continue to do so. They're great people.
  11. Original owners group

Took delivery January 2015 after the first round of convertible builds. Only around 25k miles but still in love with it.
  12. Motor Trend compares 2019 Mustang GT Convertible vs Camaro SS Convertible

Having to be fully stopped to raise/lower the top is a pain in my Mustang, but it's more than made up for by being able to carry a large range bag, ammo box, and bag of carbines to the local shooting spot with the top down.
  13. NEVER Factory order a Mustang

It sounds like the root of all your issues is your dealership. Best of luck and I hope it works out. I've custom ordered 3 Fords, two of them Mustangs. All were a pleasant experience, but waiting sucks. My most recent is my 2015 GT convertible which I ordered before they even started...
  14. June Sales

Only an "average" person would say that. For us tall guys that car might as well not exist. A Cayman isn't an option for me any more than a Miata is. Last Miata I tried to drive my eyeline was over the top of the windshield.
  15. 2018 Cobra Jet [Now Available For Orders]

Interesting that they are now taking orders, but don't advertise the price nor the power levels. Two things I'd probably want to know before ordering.
  16. Washing convertible top

Since you're asking opinions, mine has never seen a car wash of any type. Can't imagine those automated ones are good on seals let alone the cloth top. For 3 1/2 years mine's been hand washed only, and only by me.
  17. My convertible leaks in heavy rain

Sorry you're having issues. I've not noticed any water intrusion no matter how hard the rain when I'm driving. Mine is garaged so I haven't had any issues with leaves or other debris building up. Hard to imagine that would cause water to enter the vehicle as shown in your photo. Wish you...
  18. Accelerometer reading from the dealer

My bet would be the sensor was jolted during install process. Either it's own or something near it that bumped it. Wouldn't take much of a knock to register a crazy number. Nothing to worry about on a car fresh from the factory.
  19. 2019 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

I had the same dilemma when I ordered my car GUARD back in 2014. Ended up taking the leap of faith and it worked out for me.
