S-Type full catback comes with an X-pipe, no resonator at all. There's a resonator you can buy from Borla for another 600 bucks, but you can't order the S-Type catback with it, you have to buy both, so it costs a ton. Huge fail on Borla's part, IMO....
That said, you can call them and order...
Yeah that maybe one valid critique. I think they use the same tips for multiple kits, so it's the outside tip isn't inset quite enough, but at the same time, it also makes you kinda notice the exhaust a little bit more and still looks very classy. High quality piece.
I feel like if you're gonna go all in on a full cat-back, just do the 3" ... doesn't cost more and prepares for future if necessary. The idea that you "need back pressure" is fairly silly, especially on 7,000rpm+ engines like these, where there's not a ton of low end power anyway.
AWE or what I just installed from Thermal R&D (3" full cat-back, with 3" connection, 304 stainless, VERY DEEP TONE). I don't have headers, but people say with headers it has a much better sound than others. I was recommended the Borla S-Type, but let me tell you, that exhaust is L-O-U-D even...
Gen 4 Coyote engine cover on my Gen 3, just installed. Got for FREE with Ford points. FREE people. However, I paid for adapters to install it, so that kinda negated the free part.

Thermal R&D full 3" 304 stainless cat-back, with 3-chambered center muffler and dual Helholtz resonator "mufflers" in rear, with 4" dual tips, available in black or polished. I'm pretty pleased with it.... Several vendors sell it or can buy direct. They didn't charge sales tax shipping to...
I have the Steedas, but have never actually tried to use the factory jack, so I dunno!!! Has anyone used the factory scissor jack with the Steeda jacking rails in place (can you still get it in there?). That's a concern for side of the road tire changes. Yes I have factory spare.
Hey guys,
So I have gone through a couple of exhaust configurations, like many, and I wanted to explain my experience for those contemplating what to do with their otherwise stock GTs.
1) Within days of purchasing the car, I had the factory resonator cut off and replaced with a Steeda H-pipe...
