If you're going to upgrade, upgrade with everything you need. Get the premium package with 3.55 gears minimum. That way you will get the selectable drive modes (Sport+, Track).
I wouldn't bother upgrading to a base GT with 3.15. Not worth it, although a big part of the appeal is the rumble of...
I just got rid of my EB 3.15 for a GT Premium, 3.55, AT. You are obviously not driving this car right. The turbo does have a good amount of torque down low, but the coyote screams past it at high RPMs. That's where the power is. Torque wise the EB feels close, but overall performance, the GT is...
Can anyone chime in if FRPP2 is worth it over FRPP1. I'm looking for a bit quicker throttle response and better transmission shifting. My goals for this car are 400 WHP, 370 FT-LBs of torque (not just from this mod alone).
Used for about a year on my ecoboost mustang. Traded the car in. Cannot find the box and manuals, but selling the accessport and usb cable. Up to date as of last week.
Asking $old shipped. Looking for a quick sale.
Any recommended tint shops in Se MI? swapped out for a GT white with black accents and feel like I'm in a fishbowl without tints.
Also anybody clear bra'd their car?
A happy wife is a happy life.
But I agree with what many of the posters - a shorter commute doesn't mean you should trade up your fun car.
And also 340 HP in the S4 means nothing. The old one was about as quick as a 5.0 so I wouldn't sleep on them.
There are some accurate posts in this thread guys and there are some changes that haven't been predicted yet that are impressive imo. Gotta keep my mouth shut for a few months :ford:
All I know is, its enough to make me think twice about getting a BMW M4 at twice the cost.
As someone who is on the inside on Mustang news, I highly recommend those trying to buy a Mustang soon, to wait until 2018MY. Some very big changes. I myself have an EB and am eagerly waiting till 2017 for me to swap up.
And if you're looking to get a V6, might want to get one quick. It is not...
This car continues to impress me, and I'm saying that as a long-time/current German car owner. Yeah ford dealership service is so-so, the suspension is kind of floaty, yeah the bluetooth has been funky, and I had my first issue with the car in only 7500 miles. But still, this car punches above...
I am holding out on a GT because of this.
Since GM is working on this, I have faith that it is going to be a good transmission. Personally I have the 8-ZF-AT in my BMW (shared with a bunch of brands-future Audis, Jags, Land Rovers, Dodge Hellcats/RTs_, which many people agree is the best auto...
The issue with buying a house is I like not being tied down to any single home. I could move across country and not worry about renting or selling the house.
My job is such that if a better opportunity arrives, I'd like to be able to quickly move on it.
Every single car I own has to be a daily driver. No drag racing.
I'd prefer something with 4 seats. I threw the C7 in the list, but realistically, I wouldn't buy it, just not practical enough for my needs.
I don't think I could keep the EB as my only car, even if I was to buy a house. Would need to upgrade to the GT.
I absolutely know cars are poor financial investments. They are investments in my fun, happiness, and sanity :).
I am waiting for MY18, I am fairly sure it will get the 8AT, which will be a much better upgrade.
Considered them, would rather get a brand new M3 at that price range. Also, with a tune, a 550i can beat a stock M5. I could be wrong but I believe they have the same engine as well.
Would...
Budget - 40-70K. Lower is better, 70k is reaching but I could make it for the right car.
Four seats - very high priority. The only exception I was considering was the C7. My current car is a sedan and its very useful when I have my friends or my family around.
Daily driver - yes.
