  1. Auto vs Manual

I have a manual... But I still like to wear women's underwear... On my face
  2. Got away with one today.

Even with traction control ON, these cars allow some wheel spin before reducing power. If you're starting and turning simultaneously that may be too far to catch it.. Especially if it's cooler and you're on summer tires. These cars make a lot of power quickly. Very rev happy engine with plenty...
  3. Ouch

I was thinking more along the lines of way too fast for conditions. That whole street runs through mostly residential area. As far as "putting on make-up or texting"… there are plenty of males around here that could also be doing those things while driving ;) Distracted driving isn't owned...
  4. Ouch

The road she was on is Sand Point Way… 30 mph. She had to be doing some real bone headed shenanigans. Unfortunate, but glad nobody else was hurt.
  5. How many members from Seattle zone

    Lake Forest Park :ford:
  6. Ouch

Wonder if he's selling his wheels. Those would look great on my car  Hope this wasn't Qwkynuf
  7. What cars constantly try to race you?

    Nissan Leaf
  8. Which stance looks better???

I like both, but choice B would be the better look with a more mild rake IMO. Of course I'm in my 50's and like the subtle muscle car (oxymoron) look  A mild rake with staggered tire sizes is in my car's future.
  9. Sync 3 / Re-Boot or ?

I think you need a new car ;)
  10. Looked at some 16 GT's at Bowen Scarff Kent,WA

I've bought 3 mustangs there. Great outfit. they always have a reasonable deal and sometimes a fire sale on units that won't move, trade-in numbers are usually good, and the service department is excellent and full of "mod friendly" staff. Highly recommend them.
  11. Heat Extractor Delete

They aren't terrible. I just prefer the clean look of no extractors. I don't think they're doing all that much. As I mentioned, I would prefer no 5.0 badges too.. Like my '09 bullitt. The car has presence in it's basic form with no need for badges and barely functional scoops, etc. On my car I...
  12. Heat Extractor Delete

I don't like them either  Like a nice "clean" look. I'd be happy without the 5.0 on the side too.
  13. So traction into second

No worries. It's just the back end trying to get in front
  14. When will Ford offer an 8-speed auto like Chevy and Dodge?

Ford is moving to the ecoboost stuff. The 2.3 falls on its face after 5500 rpm, where as the coyote keeps pulling for another 1500 rpm. More gears with shorter spacing keeps the turbo engines in their powerband and still allows for very relaxed cruising rpm. I agree 10 speeds sounds excessive...
  15. Finally driven the S550.....

Glad you finally got to drive one. Love the bullitt in those photos.
  16. For the MT owners: how do you downshift?

I don't bother double clutching, but maybe 50% of the time I rev match (as best I can... Not perfect). Usually I will match revs when slowing for a corner on a back road to get into the gear I want without upsetting the chassis as I enter the turn. This is also fun to do when exiting the highway...
  17. Mustang first in sales

Actually they may be getting into the ttv6 game  It remains to be seen :)
  18. Goodwood Festival of Speed - Live Feed (GT350R action)

Weird that there are no hood vents on the yellow GT. looks better to me.
  19. Gas prices double overnight...

Not entirely true, but I get why you might think that. I knew I wouldn't be using the car much anyway, but I love mustangs so I didn't go with the 100% utilitarian decision. I deserve a little thrill when I know I'm going to drive it :)
  20. Gas prices double overnight...

Right now my gas bill is ~$106/month... 7500 miles/year divided by 20.5 overall avg. mpg X $3.50/gallon = $106.7 so I think I could absorb doubling that. It would just be more incentive to ride my bike (bicycle) to work more often.
