Ford has definitely been lackingin their response. On top of that, Chevy guys are able to get good deals on the more premium model (ZL1) while Ford guys have to be happy with MSRP on the GT350 as long as you buy out of state. I bet the ZL1 1LE will be more attainable than the GT350R.
Lol No there was not.
IMO Bullitt Mustangs are also poser cars in the very same way as the Transformer Edition bumblebee camaros. It's an unnecessary edition, especially when there is already real history to pull from from their respective models.
I doubt they would. They have zero incentive to right now. They have plenty of cars to sell right now, no use in creating too much hype on a car that won't be on the road for atleast 6 months.
Thanks! You have a clean 69 as well I see!
It's been a lot of work. Affirm on it being a 63C. Originally was a Candy Apple Red 351w 4v, FMX, 3.25 rear. No AC, no PS. I'll be swapping out the 3.25's for some 3.89's on monday. I need to look over the tune after that to see if I need to make any...
I do like the idea of an Eleanor edition tho. That has to be the best looking mustang to grace the silver screen. That, and the poor white Anvil mustang crushed by a tank in the Fast and the Furious series
It's a silly edition, there is no history there with Ford to pull from. But people just eat it up anyways. There was no "1968 Mustang Bullitt". It's as if Ford were to come out with an "Eleanor" edition to mimic the Gone In 60 Seconds mustang, a "John Wick" edition mustang, or an "Anvil" edition...
I hope designing a Bullitt mustang does not affect development of a Mach1 in any sort of way. I'd rather have a Mach1 rather than a Bullitt. I just don't get the "Bullitt" mustangs. They are the same as if Ford decided to make "Eleanor" edition mustangs... which I hope they never do.
I really do hope a 2019 Mach1 is released. I'd settle on a 2018 GT if I knew a Mach1 would not be released in the following 3 years, but I really do believe a Mach1 is in the horizon.
