  1. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Also, when it comes to '17 vs '18, people need to take into account that a decent chunk of the savings will be lost when it comes time to sell it due to it being a model year older that will also be in the long run a version that is less desireable.
  2. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

I'm sure the '20 will share the same as well since the Mustang won't be moving to the new platform until 2020 ('21 model year).
  3. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

I agree with everyone in saying the '18 just seems to flow better and looks much more aggressive. Also, as has been stated, the spoiler is the only real detractor.
  4. Shelby GT350 Mustang Owners File New Class Action Lawsuit Against Ford for Fraud

That's good! Hopefully I can capitalize on the tech owners mistake and swoop up on one for cheap when it comes time to sell. The track pack versions have been propping up the overall price on the GT350's, but the more the different trims get separated due to all the commotion, the more likely...
  5. Shelby GT350 Mustang Owners File New Class Action Lawsuit Against Ford for Fraud

Yuuup. The tech owners are really just harming themselves more with this thing. They are over selling the problems, which will only hurt them more later when the stigma they they created really sticks to the cars when it's time to sell them.
  6. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

The 8 speed is geared better than Ford's current 6 speed auto. The camaro makes a good 25-30 rwhp and 50 rwtq more. That, and 80 lbs or so weight advantage. I think it's going to be too much for the mustang to overcome. The 10 speed will help a little, but I expect only around 1 mpg more. The...
  7. Shelby GT350 Mustang Owners File New Class Action Lawsuit Against Ford for Fraud

Being as how hindsight is always 20/20, Ford should have just put coolers on all the cars since people are too dense to figure out the Track Pack cars are the GT350's meant to be tracked. People like to have their decisions made for them and are incapable of making their own choices or using...
  8. Shelby GT350 Mustang Owners File New Class Action Lawsuit Against Ford for Fraud

You're complaining about a scenario that has never played out on a GT350. It's to the point where it's just complaining with no real substance. Ford can deny warranty coverage on a 100% stock car and claim damage was caused by abuse.
  9. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Why would Ford upgrade the engine again in the same gen for model year '20 when the next gen is scheduled to be unveiled in 2020 for the '21 model year? I bet the '18-'20 will remain the same powertrain-wise until the next gen is released.
  10. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

LOL all manufacturers round up or down. The C6 Z06 had a 428, but everyone was OK woth calling the LS7 a 427 when it is not. I agree with the old 302 should have been a 4.9. But these modern 5.0's are fine and have zero to worry about due to simple mathematics.
  11. GT500 testing in Arizona

The '03-'04 Cobra coupes weighed 3660 lbs. I had an '03 Cobra convertible, and on a certified scale, full weight including full tank of gas came out to 3780 lbs.
  12. GT500 testing in Arizona

It's not the LT4 that over heated, it was the automatic transmissions that would over heat. They did improve the cooling recently, but the issues were cooling the transmissions.
  13. 2019 GT500 Mule? Front Gills/Louvers

Ford has absolutely no reason to stick with that. They can change the cam, the headers, intake manifold, anything. Shit, just add DI like every other Mustang will have now and presto - it's no longer a "Voodoo."
  14. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

That is a generality that is impossible to prove given the information that is available. If you want to make yourself feel better about your purchase, I get it I guess, but it really is silly to use it as a selling point when you have zero facts about the new engines.
  15. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

I'm not doubting that's what he told you, but I bet he's full of crap.
  16. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

I agree. This redesigned Mustang is really improved. I was never a fan of the '15 hood lines, they looked similar to the SN95 mustangs. Also, the rear lights and lower rear facia needed a little work and the little tweaks they did really improved that. This '18 is a really great looking car.
  17. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

I don't see how they can label that as a "GT350R-looking" spoiler. It's not terrible looking, but the R spoiler looky MUCH better than that.
  18. 2018 Shelby GT500 Renders

Reminds me of a Lotus, which isn't a bad thing.
  19. San Francisco Bay Area owners, HELP!

Just take it to the dealer you bought it from. That's the a big part of the purchase, you buy into the service that dealer would offer you too. It's part of the dealer-customer relationship you've built with that deapership, I'm sure they'll work with you.
