What did you sell them for? I found a pair of cloth front seats Pat a junk yard with both airbags deployed and the guy wants $400…. All I need is the wiring and seatbelt buckle so I can set up my new seats, I expected much cheaper for airbag deployed seats, am I crazy?

I’m looking for a local salvage yard to get a couple front seats out of. I really just want the buckle/wiring harness so I don’t need airbags… any ideas where I can find a set?

I waited until I found them on sale but I think I still paid $40 a piece for them… it hurt but when I got them I was happy I did, they look really good on the car.

I have the Steeda Tri-Ax as well and really like it. That being said, every time I say that on here it seems 25 people with an MGW jump from the bushes and yell at me for my blasphemy…

Looks like you’ve already done a lot of homework. I would say (if you’re like me) one of the only issues is it’s a money pit because once you mod one thing you can’t stop. I don’t think I saw anything about transmission, personally I’m a stick shift kinda guy and can’t imagine a sports car...

It appears I need a 2.2 ohm resistor to get rid of the airbag warning. Obviously my OCD will never allow an airbag light, so now I have to get some. 10 for $6, 100 for $7, 1000 for $14. Stupid.

It looks like a loss to me, sorry to say. I would say the insurance isn’t going to give you what you’re expecting either. I don’t wanna be that guy, but personally I would expect less. I would also rather be unexpectedly happy with their offer rather than disappointed, so I would expect less...
