Having it paid off helps if you sell private party because you skip a lot of nonsense, definitely more attractive for buyers. If you’re selling to a dealership/trade in, it makes no difference. Obviously selling private party will get you a higher selling price.

I have the ultralight jacking rails, sometimes I jack from just the rails, sometimes I still use the rear pinch weld. A jack stand on the pinch weld is fine in the correct spot (as others have shown). The only thing I really pay attention to is that the pinch weld sits in the middle of the jack...
