The handling package isn't available yet. The only thing I can find is it'll be available later this year. I believe the rear seat delete is coupled to the handling package, so we'll just have to wait until it's released.
It doesn't have to be done by a dealer for warranty purposes. It just needs to be done by someone who is ASE certified. I'd find a local shop who's passionate about cars to do it. As far as cost, I believe it'll be around $500 by a dealer.
Short answer, no. A video or audio will only be as good as the speakers and system. You would have to pay attention to the surrounding noise. Example, if 2 people were talking in the video and then someone revs the exhaust in each mode. And even then, it won't compare to being next to the...
Do you have drive modes? Does this happen to you in track mode? Have you tried turning AdvanceTrac off? I can feel the car just bog struggling to move down low. But if I'm at 3-4k rpms and punch it, the car will spin and even get squirrelly with no power loss. Of course, i only do this in...
That's the nature of the engine and the long gears. It's not going to move until you get past 3-4k rpms even with 3.73s. This tune won't help that much. If supercharging is out of the question, I'd suggest looking at gears. 4.09 is popular but I'll personally be getting 4.56s (maybe 4.88s).
100% agree about headroom.
Most will be satisfied. I wasn't and others aren't. However, this car is the best bang for your buck imo. I bought it with the intention of increasing the head room with an aftermarket seat. The seat has been the best investment ever to be able to have a sporty...
What helps me is i never go past 4th unless I'm on the hwy going 70-75mph. 4th at 50mph is around 2.5k rpms. A decent spot if i need to accelerate and get over or even slow down without shifting.
100% this. What helps is balding tires. Then you can break loose down low and have fun. Please note, don't do this in public or around anyone. But this is probably why everyone has fun driving the brz/frs/gt86 with its Prius sized tires.
The only real way for the car to feel fast is to...
There definitely is a difference. Sport+ stiffens up quite a bit. My back can attest to it. Annoying too, imo, since you can't have sport+ settings without sport+ magneride settings. I'd like to have normal magneride with any drive setting. To add, the Ford Performance calibration really...
Non magneride felt a little floaty to me, but magneride felt/feels solid. As stated by another member, go to the dealer and drive another to see if it feels the same.
That's actually pretty sweet. Would be useful for different situations, like crowd control. :D
Backing in is not always an option. But I'll gladly stop with plenty of space and use my rear camera to ensure I'm not sticking out.
From texas. Don't tell me how to live. If I want 4k rpm while cruising at 80mph, then I'll want 4k rpm at 80 mph! :) just playing
I owned an rsx type s and other Hondas, so I'm used to close gear ratios. 4k rpm in 6th isn't new to me. But this car has such terribly long gears and no low...
What package did you get? Manual? I have a 6 speed pp1 and my God, it's near impossible to get "squirmy". It's lacking down low. The only way is if I really try to launch at 4k rpms.
I'd suggest to find some open area away from people and objects and have fun with it trying to learn its...
