I upgraded the speakers with the intent of eventually replacing the factory amp; with full-range speakers in both front and back the main issue is the signal processing which seems to be in the steering of signals in the multi-channels created by the amp.

According to most others here in the forums, the signal processing is done in the factory amp and the head unit outputs are clean line level, at least on the Shaker 9-speaker system, from what I've been able to search.

I purchased my 2016 GT PP 6M two weeks ago. Drove 175 miles home from SC to NC and averaged 28.5 MPG doing 65 MPH all the way on interstate; Averaging about 18.5-19 MPG so far local mixed driving, not bad at all for a V8, blows my V6 JK Wrangler away, LOL!
