Thank you. It just seems odd to me. I've watched countless videos of people installing headers and talking about how tuning gets you even more gains after adding them as compared to just installing them and leaving it at that

I know you don't have to get a tune in order to run headers but I thought you would have higher gains if you did get the car tuned after adding headers. If that's not the case then why do shops suggest getting a tune after adding them?

Honestly, any increase in hp I can get. If there is no gain then at least the car might run a little cooler.

Just trying to check all the boxes off. If it helps like some people show it does then it'll be well worth it for the price.

I've read and watched multiple videos/articles where the car actually gains hp with the thermostat. I can't remember the exact IAT at the moment but I can remember it increasing quite a bit because of the weather lately.

No codes. I just want the car to run a little cooler because I tend to drive it like I stole every time I get in it. That and I've watched a few videos about it where they claim, and show that the car actually gained horse power with the lower degree thermostat.
