I'm just hoping my car shows up before 01/05 (as unlikely as that's beginning to look) otherwise I'm out $2000 in rebate savings. ($500 Dream Big Cash, $750 EAA Certificate, $750 Private Cash Offer Coupon)
Mine still says 02/05 on COTUS, although for a brief time yesterday morning it said 01/02.
My dealer last said that they are expecting it the fourth week of January, between the 20th and the 23rd.
As of Wednesday the dealer's tracking system said it was awaiting transportation assignment after...
This is driving me insane!
I'm in nearly the same spot as ShadowHorse. My EDD was 12/29 while awaiting shipment, then jumped to 1/30 once it was in transit, and last I checked it was 02/05. I realize California is probably the furthest these cars have to travel, but my car was completed...
My local dealership of choice is having no issue moving the '14s right now. I just got my fiancee one a few weeks ago; and the same day they had sold two other V6s, a fully loaded GT and a Shelby.
A lot of people really like the way the '13/'14s are styled, and the rebates/discounts/incentives...
Here's some pictures I snapped real quickly at the Petersen Auto Museum yesterday. Nothing too great since I took them with my iPhone. I was very impressed with how much better the car looked in person!
Within the first week, I'll be doing:
- Opti-Coat Pro: Complete coverage of all exterior painted surfaces. It's basically a long-lasting paint sealant which will help prevent fading, keep dirt from clinging to the car and help the car be a little more scratch resistant.
- 3M Clear Bra...
I really love the sequential tail lights on the current Mustang and hope that's carried over to the S550. It seems to be that way at least from the cars we've seen running around.
1. I personally wouldn't want to see the whole car revealed this early. I think now is a great time to see the front end revealed. I'd say by November/December it'd be nice to see a far less camouflaged rear-end, but one that is still covered. That should be enough for the artists to play...
What mainly got me interested initially in the 6th gen over a '14 was the fact that we could possibly get a inline 4 Mustang here in the States. I'm really holding out some hope that it makes it's way here, as the engine in the ST is a blast to drive.
If the inline 4 isn't sold here, I'll...
I'm not sure I would call it a safety feature either. It doesn't do anything more than what the gauges do, and it doesn't forcefully interfere with your driving either.
I personally would love to see a Heads-Up Display as an option on the new Mustang. It seems to slowly be making it's way...
Well, I'm pretty much sold on this. The front was going to be my biggest concern giving some of the renders out there and how much it was hidden by camo.
This is just brilliant though, I love it. It's like a mixture of the current Mustang and an Aston Martin, and in my opinion it looks great...
Very interesting question. I'd probably end up shopping around, which would include a used '13-'14 Mustang as well. Hopefully the 6G turns out to be great, but in the event that it doesn't, there are more sports cars coming out over the next 2 years.
Hi! My name is Zach, I'm from San Diego, CA. I've been lurking for awhile and decided to finally start commenting.
I grew up around a lot of Mustangs. Back in the mid-70s until the late-80s, my Grandpa ran a Mustang only restoration shop. They worked solely on the first generations, and a...
