Thanks for the reply. I didn’t mention tire sizes and of course that throws in another equation. I was thinking that I may move the current rear tires which are 275’s up front and perhaps go with 295’s on the rear. So I would obviously have to take that into consideration.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this wheel offset math. I have the PP wheels on my car now, which I believe are 19" x 9" (45et) on the front and 19" x 9.5" (52.5et) on the rear. I added spacers on the front which are 25mm and on the rear are 20mm. So, with my math this is now equal to a 20mm...

Bought my first car, a 70 Mach 1 in 1974. Sold it to buy a house and wanted it back ever since. Last year at 65 I bought a 2015 GT to replace it. Wanted new technology with power to go on the occasional road trip and not worry about shit breaking. Unlike the E46 M3 I sold to buy the GT.

Okay dumb question. I’ve never used one of these gizmos before, only a conventional charger. Is it necessary to disconnect the battery leads when this is in use? Secondly, does the tender/minder have to then be disconnected when going for a drive?
