Alex is definitely a trolling douche lol but I love this swap. BTW, he did this because the stock engine blew up and he had access to a Coyote engine. He has access to fabricators, he is a tuner....come on, you guys should LOVE this! A C6 ZR1 with twin turbo Coyote is badass....and it pisses off...
Absolutely not. 3.5" is the very max I would attempt and that is nowhere close to 1000whp. Now with meth injection, you could make that 1000whp with a great tune.
Awesome. Sounds like a great plan....and I am so jealous how CLEEEEEAN your garage floor is. Mine has leaves and everything else the Oklahoma wind blew in for the past 6 months. :(
How do you know it's low when you don't even know how much boost the engine was seeing? Shoemaker is a good tuner. 3.5 pulley was around 11psi on my truck that had that same blower.....but even that does not mean that''s what you are seeing. Setup, elevation, ambient tempts etc matter.
No reason not to do a 5.2 block. That's what I did to mine. 5.2 block with forged internals and I reused my gen 1 crank. I talked to lots of people and this bottom end I have is comfortable till 1500whp. I am at around 1100whp where i feel it's plenty safe to be reliable for awhile. Sorry for...
Have you seen the video of the guy who bought a Mustang and launched it out of the seller's driveway and crashed it? Thankfully it was already bought!
My car, they would test drive it and can't get on it at all. If they want to feel the power, I am driving it.
On my S197...20x9.5(F)with 275/35 and 20x11(R) with 315/35. Been on this setup for 6 years. Works well for the street. My car gets driven! Never been on a trailer except the day I bought it.
My 1991 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. Stick shift. Went 10.56@136 and as high as 139mph in the 1/4 mile on regular street radials in 2009!!!!!!!! Loved that car but the money I got from selling it changed my life in more ways than one. So, it was a good sacrifice! Compilation video I revisit sometimes...
That's exactly what I did with my GT years ago after I bought it; Only did suspension mods after I bought it. Didn't touch the engine, not even an air filter change because I knew what the end goal was.
I feel your pain. I have Magnaflow E series axlebacks on my car and I love it. I am debating having a shop weld in the factory H pipe portion into it though. I initially had Roush, which sounded great when the car was stock, but after I went turbo and removed the cats, it sounded horrible.
There's a guy on FB who told me he spent almost $5k to modify his BL Fab turbo kit. Also had a 88mm BL Fab kit.
For me, the thing I say I regret is buying an AEM Infinity standalone ECU instead of going to a Fuel Tec when I had the chance. There are quite a few things I didn't anticipate that I...
