I think you could. I believe it would be somewhere near a line level output since the amp for the sub is mounted on the back of the sub box. I'm not which wire is which. I'll look back through the thread and see if it shows.

The easiest thing for you is to read the strategy right from the sticker on the pcm.

The procal is trash, especially when compared to other devices. I've had it fail to flash a few times but it eventually gets it done. I would try flashing it again, clear any codes, and manually reset the kam.

Yes. The tune (every tune in fact) is for a specific throttle body. Where did you buy the procal without the throttle body? The procal is VIN locked when purchased from Ford Performance

Ouch. The procal is a scary device. I've seen "flash failed" twice now with it. Were you able to finally change the gear ratio with it? Glad to hear the hardware part was a success though, and can't wait to hear your impressions. I had the gears in my '07 done and it was awesome.

How did the gear install go?

You'll be happy with an Ortiz tune. I have an e85 tune from them and it's awesome.
