Today I noticed the hood liner around the hood vents stained white from rain water from yesterday, and the liner all damp around the vents. This doesn't seem like a good plan for long term moisture damage. Too bad the area around the vents isn't plastic. Car is 2016
just use the m205 with a foam pad and use light pressure while rubbing and be patient. It will take a few times and it will fade as you go. Any good wax after is fine.
you don't need ultimate compound for this. Start with something milder like m205 like I said worked for me in previous post on black paint. You can't even see it now. I had exact same stain.
I just dealt with this 2 days ago on my 2016 black GT. Bird pooped on top edge of my door and left that etch in the clear coat. I used Meguiars m205 and kept working it until you can't see it any more. I followed up with straight wax and very happy with result.
Sorry I didn't take pics of drilling wheels, I removed wheel and installed wheel
adapter and then bolted the wheel on and snugged it up pretty good so the wheel studs left a circular ring on back of wheel in the
pocket showing where to drill. Used 1/2" drill bit and drilled in about 4 or 5mm...
I installed them today on GT PP wheels. Drilled out pockets in wheels and fit great. Really like 20mm over 25mm on rear tires. By the way, there is enough meat on wheels to drill pockets, just use care and don't go crazy!
