Did this ever get resolved? I have a 2022 Mach 1 w/o handling package. When turning full stop backing out of parking spots it pops, sounds like my right front, but it's hard to say exactly. I've also noticed this when making left turns from a complete stop. Don't want to bother with the...
I don't think they need to know much of anything except how to say, "that's normal", "can't duplicate the issue", "one of our technicians called out sick so your car will not be done until next week", and "I'm not sure"....
When checking the contact pattern, is there any way or any requirement to somehow put resistance (loading) on the differential? Or, do you just put it together, rotate the pinion flange, and call that good? In this video, the technician discusses "Loaded Contact Pattern Check" at the 21:40...
Yeah. It’ll probably be fine, but mine ended up being extremely stressful. I sold it for $3,500 after spending months trying to figure it out, removing it, putting the car back to stock, reinstalling it, removing it again… Loosing $5,500 was hard on me.

Here is a pic of it next to the correct machined gray wheel (on the left.).
What did the black wheel...
I'm no expert, but poking around the internet, and watching physics videos on youtube years ago, I would say probably stickier tires will make more of a difference than the size, but going to 19" will also give the tire the ability to squish a little when taking off.
The contact patch surface...
Well, I bought the car with 3,000 miles on it and don't abuse it. The previous owner would have had to abuse it quite a bit in 3,000 miles to have that issue. Also, as I said, this is the second Mach 1 I've personally driven (So, 100% of the Mach 1s I've driven, both with about 3,000 miles on...
