I'm bumping up an old thread here. I found I have the same clunking noise that the OP shows in the video.
I did some investigating and was thinking I'd have to replace the entire rack like a few have to fix the clunking.
I then started searching F150 info for similar issues and found this...
When I bought my 17 GT it had nice burbles and grumbles on engine decel. I knew the car had a tune, but no idea which one. So to make sure I knew I had a good one I bought a wengerd tune. The car certainly drives better now, but all the burbles are gone on decel. He did another tune which...
I sold my wife's subaru on FB last year. It sold in a matter of days and sold for more than I was hoping for.
But I agree, there's a point where your time is worth more. Perhaps a mustang attracts a different demographic of buyer than a subaru?
Before accepting any dealer offers to buy it toss it up on FB marketplace. Write up a really good listing and mention things like maintenence, etc... Get really good pictures just as the sun starts to set in the evening so the lighting is good. Make sure to get pics with a nice background...
I came across this guy's post the other day. I did some upgrades to my suspension recently and need to get it alignment dialed in. I'm going to do this to get the thrust angle set.

I also bought this...
Cradle Lockout + Poly vertical Links + Perf Toe Link Bearing = More NVH
I recently did these three upgrades simply because it was something I could do for fun. Each of these states there is minimal to no increase in NVH. However, after doing all three, they have created a very noticable...
Always wash, wax, etc in a front to back motion. None of this karate kid stuff. This way any swirl marks you may make are all in the same direction. Swirls marks will only be visible at specific angles where as circular marks are visible at any angle.
I'm in the middle of swapping mine. I got one finished today. I thought I had the tools I needed, but my 1-1/4" socket was a deepsocket and wouldn't fit in the ball joint press. So I went to HF and bought one. Found out it was too small OD and went inside the bearing. Drove to Lowes and...
I had a rattle in my passenger side tail light. It became annoying after I put a sub in the trunk. So finally my adhd got the best of me and next think I know I have my tail light removed.
The rattle was coming from inside the light and the only way I thought to access was to use a heat gun...
Digging up an old thread. I spotted someone selling a direct fit heated steering wheel for the 15-17 cars.
How much of this How-To do we no longer need? Looks like we would need 3 things.
Heated Steering Wheel Module (HSWM).
DanMc85's harness
And Forscan updates.
Possible a clockspring?
I had some whiteline links go bad causing a clunk in the joint. I replaced with eibach endlinks and shortly afterward the clunk came back and found the jamb nut has loosened.
Wondering if you could fine a parking lot somewhere that has an elevated edge with no curb. Then drive your car right up to the edge. Put the parking brake on and access the endlinks from under the front.
Def worth it. So is getting a braided brake line along with an MGW shifter. Those three items will transform the shifting feel of your car and make you love driving it even more.
I replaced with Moog. Seem to be holding up fine. If the original Ford hubs on my car only lasted 60k they can't be that good. The Moog were much cheaper.
