I've become happier each month with my decision to wait. Mainly because I don't know if I like any of the colors yet and because I want to see the GT350 before I decide what to buy, but also due to the lack of information.
The only way Ford was able to bring me back to the Mustang table was by...
Any chance you've got a link to a breakdown of what voids the warranty on these cars? The only performance car I've owned was 40 years old, I haven't had to worry about this before.
I have roads and tracks minutes from my house where Hennessey and other tuners run their cars well over 200mph, so yeah, I would love to see what the real aero limitations of the S550 are... :D
Just don't want to void my warranty doing it!
So this is what now, a Ford Racing dealer-installed tune?
I'm definitely keen on keeping my warranty for at least the first couple years... Would this theoretically allow you to tune the car yourself, or would it be one specific calibration/tune that opens up the performance a bit more...
My first (and only) Mustang was a 1966 GT Fastback, red with black pony interior... She was rusty. She'd been stabled in a barn for the better part of a decade and no longer ran, and although I had never so much as changed an oil filter before, I knew I was going to bring her back to life, that...
I really hope you're right and that my opinion changes when I see it under the TX sun, but in the pics of Guard that I like most, the areas without direct sunlight seem to lose the body lines and turn into a boring mess.
I am quite positive though, that regardless of how much I may like it in...
Colors are my biggest complaint, Ford fixed every other sticking point for me that prevented me from buying a Mustang, but then released it with milquetoast paint options.
Guard looks muddied any time the sun isn't directly on it, is not green enough.
Oxford doesn't show body lines well enough...
That's pretty slick. How does that work, do you put in a 6 digit color code manually, or is there some kind of shade changer interface? Guard and Saddle with the right shade of silver ambiance would be killer, but I'm not sure about the paint color til I see it IRL.
When he is scrolling through the colors it says MyColor1, MyColor2, does that mean you can add whatever colors you want from the RGB spectrum? If so, that is tits.
I think I'm holding out for the SVT/Shelby car before I make a purchase. When I saw the unmasked camo cars at the ring I got the distinct feeling that I would regret not waiting. Might even pick up a '13 or '14 GT on the cheap while I wait so that the S550 SVT/Shelby blows me away even more, and...
1) The biggest vinyl banner I can find that says "MUSTANG" for the front windshield so people know what it is
2) A huge pair of those "No Fear" eyes for the back
3) Gold chrome wrap
4) Bubb Rubb whistle tips for the exhaust
DIB I think.
Was really sprung on Guard til I saw more pics of it, now I am leaning towards DIB because it always looks good and every other car I've owned has been black, white or grey(ish), so a vibrant blue seems very appealing.
I think I even like DIB more than Kona now that I've seen...
Hadn't seen that before, but I still don't think it necessarily means that the seats are fully black except for the stitching. It just says that it includes red stitching. Red stitching is obviously included with the Redline package seen on page 1, which includes red seat covers too.
Yeah but...
Order guide doesn't say a thing about red premium seats either though, but these pics certainly show it so I will cross my fingers. I just can't imagine red stitching and panels working with black seats. The panels would look out of place.
Interesting, what leads you to believe that? Have there been any pics of the black Recaros with red stitching?
Looked like a totally separate option to me than the ebony seats, and red stitched black seats with red door panels would look... weird. Mostly black Recaros with red inserts and...
Last time I was here there weren't even red seat inserts as an option, now you're telling me that Redline will be an option with red Recaros, red stitching, and red door panels?
Now I have to look at colors other than Guard, but I started to not like it anyway. Ford is so f***ing on...
Ah, good to know, thanks.
Really hope they reveal the GT350 around April even though it kind of seems like a bad move. I can't help but want a fully loaded GT and wider tires so I'd definitely wait and spring for an upgraded model if I knew it was on the way.
:D
This makes me so happy.
I know the '15 details are fuzzy but can anybody clarify for me what the deal is with the packages? Are Performance Pack and Track Pack the same thing, or would PP have all the goodies (leather seats, screen, etc) and the Track Pack be a stripped down version with a...
Agreed, the only mustang I've owned was a heavily modified 66 GT fastback and I had given up hope on stangs completely over the years mainly because of the interior.
When I saw the 5.0L come back a few years ago it raised an eyebrow but I could still not get over the interior. As soon as I...
Wow that's pretty bad, I thought the '15 Stang gauges were bland but it's truly hard to believe that this is the M4 interior. Center stack is whack too, and the a/c vents ruin the effect of the carbon fiber imo. I like the wheel and the stitching a lot, and the door panels look good from what I...
