Yes, as redline727 stated, the only modification is a single hole in the plastic battery cover, everything else bolts in to factory locations. We even include the stepped drill bit in our system. :thumbsup:

The only modification is to drill a hole in the plastic battery cover, everything else is bolt in. The PLUS system is all black with a 4 year warranty. The ELITE system has Stainless steel gas springs and a 5 year warranty. Functionality is the same.

The "issue" is only for a small amount of vehicles. As we said it comes down the the build tolerance variation at the Flat Rock assembly plant.

Steve, We recommend to run the washer hose between the bracket and the gas spring. Note the picture below shows our Version 1 bracket, but the hose routing is the same. Please see pictures below on how to remove the gas spring from the bracket:
