  1. Any clue on differences in suspension on base vs CFTP?

I tracked my SS 1LE a good bit and do care about it. Tires matter to me for sure. That said, I would use the OEM PS4s as street tires and buy a set of Cup 2s (or other R-Comps) for trackings and just see how the car behaves, then go from there regarding the sway bar and such.
  2. Any clue on differences in suspension on base vs CFTP?

I figured something like that. Honestly, probably just upgrade the tires and maybe the bar after some laps and see how it feels.
  3. Any clue on differences in suspension on base vs CFTP?

springs I'd assume are because of the lightweight wheels, but maybe not. That said, swapping springs could easily be done (like when you put on the new adjustable strut hats), and same for a sway bar
  4. Any clue on differences in suspension on base vs CFTP?

I know the adaptive dampers are tuned a little differently because of the CF wheels, but are any hard components themselves different? I'm asking because I really can't justify the CFTP price, as I don't care about the CF wheels (and really, I don't want to risk curbing them or something).the...
  5. Reflash a PP1 car with PP2 software

    Thanks for the catch sir!
  6. Reflash a PP1 car with PP2 software

Thanks for the info guys - Coming from the GM world (6G Camaro and had a Mag ride C6 as well) - there have been ways to get updated calibrations so I was hoping Ford would have one too. However I know DSCSport makes a mag ride brain for the GT350 (and actually I have one on my G6 Camaro 1LE)...
  7. Reflash a PP1 car with PP2 software

Just wondering if anyone who got a Mag ride equipped PP1 car was able or is aware if it's possible to buy the PP2 springs/sways and then have the electronics reprogrammed? Specifically curious as I'd be interested in getting a 10AT PP1 car and then swapping wheels/tires/springs/shocks and...

Hopefully parts become avail over the next 1-2 months.
  9. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

Wasn't posted - proprietary for now. It might be a good idea to just list a FAQ in the first post at this point :)
  10. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

I'd like a 18 square setup if possible, and I'd be buying race takeoffs for those. If not, I'd like 19x10 square for track. Street for me would be ideally 19x10 and 19x11 (or 20s depending on how big/small the 19s look in person). The 35 series sidewall on a 19 makes it hard but give it time...

  12. From C5 to Mustang - Ordered last night...

It's the nature of the beast when owning heavily modded cars. I'll be fine. Sounds like your Mustang will be as fun as I'm hoping mine will be :)
  13. HRE & the 2015 Mustang: 6G Test-Fitting

Sorry if I missed it... but I have a few questions... -Were the offsets of those 20x10s and 20x11s listed? -Any confirmation that the 18x10 square setup will fit over the PP brakes? I'd like to buy a set of 18x10s (or 18x10.5s if they'll fit) for track days, and then staggered 19s or 20s for...
  14. From C5 to Mustang - Ordered last night...

On Monday evening my Corvette suffered engine failure. The cause of which was from a faulty methanol pressure switch (a $5 part)... When it failed, it left the methanol pump stuck ON while the car was idling at a stoplight... which filled the intake/t-body/intake manifold with methanol, and...
  15. Any S550 GT's heading to the NW?

I just ordered a Comp Orange GT Premium at Pierre Ford in Seattle last night.
  16. Who would buy a basic $50,000 Gt ?

They're going to build every car that has rearview camera with the sensors (or dealers will order them that way)... Why? Because most people will be used to seeing both together, and dealers can easily profit a few bucks by selling the car with that option.
