  1. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

I had the same thoughts as OP. I loved the mystique of the 350 but without the given opportunity I was given to pick up a nice example at a fair price I would of ended up with a GT or possibly a 2013 boss 302, which is what I was originally hoping for. The 350 was my unicorn if I could pull it...
  2. Lower ball joint failure

Roads here are terrible in places so I'm not really surprised
  3. Lower ball joint failure

Don't have pics but it's completely loose inside the ball joint like it just blew out.
  4. Lower ball joint failure

Just had the car on a lift to repair a TSB and noticed that my front driver's lower ball joint was completely shot. Only have 16,000 miles on her. Anyone else have any issues or did I just hit a huge pothole or something and not notice it?
  5. Final gut check - about to buy a GT350

Think of it this way. If it's the original motor then it hasn't broke. And everyone talks trash of the 2016 tech packs but what's the rarer version of GT350's? 2016 tech packs, only year without the cooler's makes it unique in my book
  6. Voodoo builders signature list.....

I agree it is possibly bad parts. I am only interested to hear from owners about their engine builder (s) and how their consumption is to compare. Let me emphasize I'm not blaming builders and/or parts. I'm just curious
  7. Voodoo builders signature list.....

My 2016 has Deitch and Patterson it looks like. I have almost 16000 miles and runs great. Normal engine oil consumption, maybe 1/2 quart every couple thousand miles
  8. Voodoo builders signature list.....

Has anyone posted the engines builders for their VooDoo for the various years? I'd be curious to correspond the builders names to oil consumption or engine issues
  9. OEM-like front brake pad and rotor recommendations?

Power stop Z26 are perfect for the street. Very low dust. Can go a week or two between wheel washing and get almost the same stopping power. Rotors on the other hand are my issue. I really would like to get the stock drilled ones for replacement but the cost and availability is an issue. There's...
  10. Stuttering/fuel cut off at high rpm shifts

Did you figure out the problem?
  11. Oil leak from passenger side valve cover

I just noticed the second bolt on bottom of driver's side valve cover was completely backed out the other day. Had to re-tighten it all the way and snug some other ones. Haven't noticed any leaks but it was worrisome.
  12. Wheel Touch Up Paint

Look for a local alloy wheel repair person. I found a guy in my area (Western New York). He polished the curb rash I inherited when I bought the car and then touched it up with something. Couldn't tell it was ever damaged. Only charged me like a $100 or something for the one wheel
  13. New Member

Z26 pads are a perfect investment for street driving. I swapped mine because of the brake dust alone. Now I can go almost a week without noticing too much. Way better and not too expensive actually
  14. Any Ford Tech's on here?

Thank you. I'll look into that
  15. Any Ford Tech's on here?

I have a 2016 GT350 tech pack. When I drive for some time and it gets nice and warm something strange happens. Downshifting and upshifting at middle rpms makes the car buck and jerk almost like something is cutting off. I was thinking maybe coil pack or fueling issue. It's very strange. It...
  16. Need Help with driveline noise

Thank you. I will look into that
  17. Need Help with driveline noise

I need help determining strange noise in what I believe is the driveline. I have a 2016 GT350 tech pack. When I rip it around for a bit and get it warm it does a strange thing. Revving it up to between 4-6000RPM and then letting off gas peddle the car drivetrain clunks and bucks a little jerking...
  18. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Finally had a chance to install all the parts I had collected over the winter. Euro taillights, side markers, blue vinyl emblems, and all the fluids. She's ready for the season
  19. Nothing better than having friends who are mechanics and access to shop to avoid dealers.

Totally agree. My good friend Doc is a master GM tech but he is amazing and does everything for me. Good friends are hard to find....
  20. Let's talk GT350 oil

Interesting to know. I didn't realize there were different formulas. Just thought full synthetic 5w50 was required. Thanks for the info
