Fuck it. I'm gonna take some more measurements tomorrow and I'll order the wheels Sunday.
Someone has to push the envelope at some point, right?
Plus, I haven't used my fender roller tool in a while...
It's a V6, traction is not going to be a problem. LOL
I've had good luck with similar setups on drift cars. Then again, straight line traction wasn't the main focus there either...
I chose base over 051A because: I don't like power seats, I don't need fog lights (never got the point on modern cars where you can't have 'em on WITHOUT the headlights) and I despise the lip spoiler. The 18s are nice looking, but not nice enough as summer wheels and as winter wheels the 17s...
Hm, so my 17 setup will work up front, as it is darn near the same as your spacer scenario:

So the 17 setup with more negative camber could work or would it require extensive fender mods?
If i overlay your setup with et 36 and mine the fender interference is...
So 18x10.5 et 36 would fit all the way around, but be tucked more in the back?
What are your thoughts on 275 40 17 on 17x10.5 et 28?
It might be tight. I ran a bunch of comparisons and math on them and your setup with the mentioned spacers for the front is PRETTY close to the same fit to the...
To me it looks like crap in person.
It ruins the gorgeous lines of the sheet metal, that allready has a mild duck tail lip on it.
And, it acts like a dam for water. All the lip equipped cars i've seen had water stains on the decklid. Just something to consider :)
