I just dropped them off at the ford dealership. $35 a wheel , but they guarantee no damage or they replace it. I usually order tire wheel packages so I dont need to deal w the hassle of finding someone I trust to get it right. But w black Friday deals, it was cheaper to order from separate...
What are you guys being charged to mount , balance, install tpms sensor per wheel? I purchased 2 sets of wheels and tires, and sensors. I'm calling arround to have them mounted. Two shops said they couldn't mount them wout damage to the wheels bc the side walls are so low(285/35/19). One shop...
He has the stock 275/35/20 cooper zeon rs3 from Roush. I currently have the oem performance pk Michelin 275/35/19. I also have a set of sve r350 19x10 wheels w 285/35/19 cooper zeon Rs3 and a set of sve drift 19x9.5 w 275/40/19 Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 (tirerack listed as all season ultra high...
Update....the 2018 gt A10 300a performance pk, is in my garage now, patiently awaiting spring time. To see how it stacks up w the Roush. I tried to post pictures of both cars, but cant figure out how.
How many miles? Do the removed factory parts come with the sale? Where about are you located? I'm in zip code 44621 ohio. I'm just wondering how long of a drive it would be. Thank you for the info.
This is all kind of confirming my suspicions. Looks like I'll have a real shot at keeping up. I'll update this w the out come after I pick up my car. But I live in Ohio, so it will probably be spring by the time the weather is favorable enough to get to the track.
Both cars are on factory tires. I believe the Roush has cooper rs3. 2018 is pp1. He is a competent shifter, but not a pro racer by any stretch. I'll try to do multiple runs wout cool down between. The more heat soak involved, the odds should shift in my favor.
I remember reading an article that tested a 2013ish roush stg III. Basically they said it was barely quicker than the boss 302 w only 444hp. I'll see if I can locate it again. I just thought that maybe the Roush car isn't making claimed power. Or, it isn't able to put the power to use...
I totally over looked the weight deference. I assumed the added supercharger, fluids etc. of the roush package would offset the weight gain of the newer model car. I'll see if I can find the weight of a stage III car.
My dad has a 2012 stock Roush stage 3 with manual transmission. I believe it was claimed to be arround 540ish crank horsepower. I'm getting a stock 2018 performance pack 1 Gt with auto transmission in next few weeks. I was just wondering if my car would keep up. My car will obviously make up...
If anyone is looking for a pp2, parkway ford in dover ohio has a 2019 black premium one w the digital dash. I believe their current asking price is 45300$ish. That may be why it's been sitting there all summer.
Can you place the gear selector into S , and get the same transmission changes as you would by using the toggle switches? I'm coming from a long line of manual transmission sports cars. I am unfamiliar with how these new autos work.
Are there threads discussing how important the drive modes are for the 10spd auto? I'm trying to decide what I'll be giving up if I buy a base gt w auto. Thanks for any help. I've been reading, trying to learn all i can before the purchase.
