My car came in yesterday and picking it up today! Can't wait...sitting here at work is driving me nuts! Triple Yellow Ecoboost with the wheel/stripe package.
Congrats to all that got theirs!! Mine moved up a couple more days. EDD is tomorrow showing 0 days to delivery. I'm hoping it may be there later today.
My blend date was yesterday and it must have got built because this morning its now awaiting shipment. The EDD date is still 5/10 though. That hasn't changed since it was established.
Been checking COTUS since Friday when my car moved into production. Finally got the window sticker to come up today! Build date is 4/6...the Monday after Easter, that may not be the best. But I'm happy it's on it's way. Ramp R...can't wait:headbang:
Speaking of the $750 coupon....I just ordered my car Tuesday. I'm assuming it's going to be built in roughly 8 weeks. I'm wondering when I should request the brochure. I don't want the coupon to come to soon and then be expired.
The only thing I really care about is any color changes. I'm looking to order around April or May and I'm thinking by that time they should hopefully know what colors are being added/deleted.
So we know there have been some quality concerns especially at initial launch. I wonder if Ford is addressing them as they hear about them, such as the panel gaps, or is waiting till the 2016's run? I'm thinking about ordering in April but part of me says wait for the 2016's. I ordered my 2011...
I figured I was clear enough and I didn't ask the same question that's already been asked. We know the Boomba piece is an adapter. But as far as I can tell you can disconnect the recirc tube and plug the hole for the same sound. My question was is there any benefit to the Boomba over doing that...
has anyone done any testing yet on this BOV versus just disconnecting and plugging the stock BPV? Are there any gains to be had with the Boomba? thanks
Torrie, do you do much in the tune as far as throttle response and auto trans responsiveness? I don't know how bad it is stock on the 2.3 but I have an Ecoboost 2.0 in my Fusion and throttle response is super laggy especially if you let off and then get back on the gas.
It's in the rears only because of the wheel wells. Wheel wells are only in the rear and are made of metal. The felt liners are to curb NVH. they figure its better for rocks and junk to hit something soft rather than metal or plastic liners.
