Yeah, I don't have a VIN yet, so now I'm contemplating changing to Ruby Red. I really like some of the pictures of LB, but those most recent ones are making me think.
Guess I should try to find an LB car locally that I can see the color on...
Yep, the end-month rush seems to cause a frenzy. I was contacted by a local dealer yesterday looking to make a deal, only for the sales rep to find out that they don't actually have any allocations to sell, haha.
The convenience factor definitely has a certain level of subjective value. I tried offering $500 over MSRP to a couple of my local dealers with allocations in the hopes of saving myself from having to go out-of-state, but didn't even get a response, haha.
I don't have a dog in this fight, but I thought I should point out that Mcarsfan was the 5th person in this thread to ask, so obviously he's not alone...
I don't consider it rude at all; people ask me how much the Lotus was just about every time I take it out for a drive, and I never feel uncomfortable telling them. It's not like they're asking me what what my annual income is.
Whelp, just placed an order with a dealer down in AL at MSRP. They don't currently have an available allocation, but they apparently had two 2016 orders fulfilled without allocations, so I'm taking a chance. They aren't requiring a deposit, so I have nothing to lose, haha.

I'm confused as to why anybody would think that the Mustang deserves to be in a "10 best interiors" in the first place. The S550's interior is much better than the S197's, for sure, but world-class it is not. I can't speak to the new Camaro, but I have been in the new Audi TT and Lexus RX (both...
You got me there; I remembered that the H12 configuration was balanced, but had forgotten that H6s also had both primary and secondary balance, as well.
I4s and I5s, yes; the I4 is actually one of the least-balanced engine configurations in wide-spread automotive use today.
An I6 has primary balance because the front 3 and rear 3 cylinders are essentially mirror-images, moving together, but 360 degrees out-of-phase. Secondary balance is...
The Inline 6, from an engineering standpoint, is superior to the V6 and H6 due to harmonics. With the appropriate firing order, an I6 eliminates both primary and secondary mechanical vibrations, resulting in a significantly smoother engine. This comes with the downside, of course, of a much...
I'm sure this will get me yelled at again, but... Magneride, while an extremely capable suspension system, is not "exotic". It's standard or optional on every currently available Cadillac (if I remember correctly), the Camaro ZL1, C6 and C7 Corvettes, multiple Audis, etc.
Regarding the...
