Two days ago I was in Boulder Colorado, with about 8 hours to kill until my flight home. It just happened to be the only day of the week that the museum was open. No kids, no wife, just me and nearly 100 awesome cars to drool on. This place is AMAZING!
They have all the famous Mustangs, Cobras...
I didn’t think this would ever happen, but I got the bug to move on past the GT350. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the car; nothing.
But I just was hearing a voice for something more old-school and perhaps special. A car that I could actually work on, didn’t require smog or inspections...
I’m sitting back reading all these posts on Dark Horse SC, SA GT350, GTD and just wondering; how small a percentage of people can justify or truly afford these cars? $125k to $300k+
I realize that if you win races with cars, you can market and sell their striped-up cousins to the masses but...
I was at a local C&C this Saturday and got my first up-close look at the new 2026 Shelby GT350. It was in Grabber Blue with the CFTP. A car broker had brought it by to show it off. It was not his, and he would not disclose where it was headed, but it was headed out of state(somewhere other than...
Picking new wheels to customize our rides is a mainstay of car culture. I too have been wondering what would look good on my car. Mentally wondering how a wheel would look and actually seeing it are two different things.
I accidentally stumbled across a site for Variant Wheels that uses AI to...
Nearly a 5 month wait for my plates here in California. My exorbitant tax money at work..
Paying a tribute to the Ford engineers and the wonderful Romeo-Niche assembly line, I can finally solute that team. And cheers to the Ferrari 458 that gave its life so that we can enjoy the Voodoo.
I went into my local Lowe’s today and they had a display of toy sports cars.
For $7 bucks I had to take this one home. What are the odds..
It’s the cheapest automotive item I will ever buy.
Not seeing anything but anecdotal information, does anyone know of a database showing engine failure rates between these two engines?
Along with that, has anyone ever linked the noted 350 engine builders to failures?
Obvi there are tons of variables to this equation, but a database that you...
My wife and I were walking out of the garage yesterday right past the 350. I unconsciously ran my hand over the “hip” area of the rear wheel well.
Instantly, my wife jealously accused me of petting my Mustang. Defensively, I snapped back that I was just checking to see if it had enough, uh...
No, not catalytic converters; CATS.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my barn cats. We have no mice, rodents or anything small that moves anywhere around the property. Those cats kill are killing machines. But, they love to sleep on warm cars.
Not sure about the rest of you, but I would think none of...
While I was standing in the parts line yesterday at my ford dealership, it was hard not to notice the Dark Horse displayed 10 feet away. Just to humor myself I took a couple steps back to see the window sticker on this non-HP car with a matt wrap. No ADM but still stickers at $80k. Unreal. With...
My apology if I am late to the party here, but does anyone know if wheels and tires from a HP Mach 1 will bolt-up to a non-HP Mach and provide the same clearances? Same offset?
Thanks!
Hey, on a stock setup with 10.5" and 11" by 19" wheels, has anyone tried mounting 315 in the front and 325 in the rear? It appears that the tire weight and diameter is roughly the same, but an extra 1/2" of bite can't hurt if there is not a clearance issue. Anyone??
After a year of hand-wringing, I finally decided to get a new Mach 1 instead of a '19-'20 Gt350. Part of me feels like I'm selling out, but hey, realistically the car will only see a session of two at Big Willow. Most of the time it will be zipping in and out of all the EV's that clog my local...
