I'm in an M3 right now and also beating my head about the ZL1 vs GT350 decision. There are no ZL1s available anywhere (is this car that rare??) to test drive. Nearest is 300 miles away.
My GT350 test drive was good, but short, and I was somewhat put off about how similar the car felt to my...
So we're getting another car for old men who like to go on "cruises". Zzzz
Looks like I'm going to pull the trigger on a GT350 after all. This car needed to be a twin turbo w/ forged everything and instead we're getting a half-assed tuner car that any lazy performance shop in Texas could slap...
Does anyone know the easiest way to find a 2017 with convenience package at MSRP?
It is an exhausting process to search for these cars which are apparently very rare. It's so exhausting that I am nearly about to throw in the towel on my search and just keep my current car.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate your input.
The track school was not something I have heard of before. I have a ton of free airline miles to burn up and this sounds like a great way to put them to use.
So as I am sure you are all well-aware, the market is overflowing with low-mile, used 2016 and 2017s. What I am trying to figure out is where the best deal is considering I do prefer having both Nav and rear spoiler.
2016 Used w/ Technology - 2-3k miles: $52k-$54k
2017 Used w/ Convenience...
Ford needs to keep the eye on the ball and not chase after cars like the Demon and ZL1 and focus on cars they can SELL to ENTHUSIASTS around the world who want a sporty car, not a heavy boat with a big engine.
They should really focus on pushing the performance aspect/marketing of the EcoBoost...
Putting less than 91 means less power, lower efficiency. It just simply boggles the mind the kind of irresponsible financial decisions people make. Why would you tick the option box for the V8 motor and then hamstring it by putting in cheap gas...to save 15 cents a gallon? Unbelievable.
I bought my GT a few weeks back with the intention of selling it for the 350 once they are readily available (I will not pay ADM nor will do business with a dealership who has ever used that tactic).
After driving my GT I really love the car and I question if I would be wanting to eat $7k in...
A Ford dealer installed the springs for you?
$150 is awfully cheap, that's about 1hr of labor isn't it? Can it be done that quickly?
I just bought the springs from Steeda, David hooked me up with a forum coupon code too.
I looked in the vendor forum here and there is no mention of these springs.
Where can I go to get the best price?
Also, what did you guys pay for install if you did not do it yourself?
This thread is hilarious.
If you think the Magnusson-Moss act is going to save you from Ford refusing to honor a powertrain warranty when you've tuned your car - GOOD LUCK!
This is one of the most misunderstood aspects of the tuner world. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard of...
Yep, thanks guys...just figured that out. It is the "appearance package".
So...now the question is, if this car is NOT an appearance package, what is it worth?
Here is a link to the listing:

Local dealership has a red 50th Anniversary Limited Edition for $40,000. Car has 12xx miles on it.
I can get a brand new GT PP (not LE, not sure if I know the difference or care?) for $41k which seems a much better deal to me. The only problem is that the GT PP has the Recaro seats and I'm...
So is the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Which never gave me any problems in my CTS-V or M3.
If this is normal Pirelli PZero performance then the tires just suck.
I just had a comically bad experience with a test drive of a '15 GT PP.
The car simply could not get traction. Are these Pirelli tires just that bad in ~35 degree temperatures? On the highway on-ramp, the rear-end skidded around and just had no bite. In 2nd and 3rd gear, even with moderate...
