I dropped off one of my PP rear tires at a local Firestone shop to remove a small nail in the center tread. The tire was holding pressure (32 psi) with no other obvious issues. The shop called and asked if I drove the tire flat, which I hadn't, when I asked why they told me the inner sidewall...
^^ Yep, your right JohnBoy, duh moment on me. Thanks for the advice, I checked and my hood is perfect and the cap is on correctly. Not a big deal, minus in the indentation on the insulation everything looks fine.
Actually I wouldn't mind changing it but that stock cap is already hitting the hood insulation. Almost all the dress up covers sit on top of the existing covers which won't help the clearance issues.
I'm open to suggestions, got an any?
Found 640 for sale at a Honda dealer in Greensboro NC. Everything looks great except it has what appears to be a JLT intake installed which means it may have a tune. Not that big of a deal but the dealership is claiming all the modifications were done by Ford. I have serious doubts Ford...
I attended this year and Ducati's wasn't bad but it was a bit tight w/parking which caused several guys to park in the back or with the general public. It's a great atmosphere but it would be even better if we could have more real estate including the back area for "special activities." Either...
JB,
I spent days flipping back and forth from RR to Magnetic before I finally decided on RR at the Dealer. I used to wonder about my choice but once I started installing mods and making it my own all the doubts faded away. There are many cars of the same color but mine is unique and so is...
I went this route but you could also just borrow a tool from any auto parts store. Plenty of videos available to help if needed. If you go with a pro shop don't forget to ask them to clock your bushings and also ask about an alignment after you put a few miles on the car (needed to settle the...
Thanks!
To tell the truth I just put on the Pirelli All Seasons that came with the car. My "Summer" tires get a bit lose when the temp drops below 35. We don't get much snow in my part of NC and if we do I'm jumping in the F150 instead.
I also live in an POA (Property Owners Ass) and our bylaws do mention noise especially lawn cutting and barking dogs. First step for homeowners is try to work it out. The POA will not engage unless theirs been discussion between the two parties. We have Harleys and muscle cars in the...
Winter Prepped
Washed her up and threw on the winter tires a bit early. Of course, since I was proactive and prepared this now means North Carolina will now have a mild winter.
Your welcome North Carolinians.
There's two 17s listed in central NC from the same dealer family. Two magnetics with black stripes & conv pkg with $7500 ADM the other is white with blue stripies & conv pkg with a $10K ADM. Not sure why the white car draws the extra $2500 over the magnetics.
I stay in North MB, Little River area, (friends with a Condo) and I find that area a bit slower and less hectic as downtown. The cruise down 17 can be a PITA with all the lights but there's a bypass that goes around most of the congested areas. Then again, just by cruising down 17 I found...
This was my first MW and it was a great experience for me and my wife. As the videos show there was a wide variety to Mustangs, from special hot rods to DDs, both old and new. The wife enjoyed having the mall shopping time which also came in handy for some AC cooling off time.
Cruising around...
